Shared flat knitting can turn a design into a garment quickly, but it does not confirm fibre composition, care labels or order inspection for a brand.
  • LOCAL INDUSTRY · Hebei Pingxiang children’s bicycles — Pingxiang’s sector spans children’s bicycles, strollers, child seats and ride-on toys; it cannot be summarised by adult-bicycle parameters. County material published in 2025 reports more than 2,600 related firms, 120,000 workers, annual sales above RMB 30 billion and total output of 145 million units. Scale shows industrial density, while products are tested separately for age, weight and use. Pingxiang expanded from bicycle parts and assembly into children’s mobility, concentrating frames, wheels, plastics, textiles and final assembly. A child product is not merely a smaller one: reachable gaps, lock misuse, braking distance, chain guarding and material migration follow children’s behaviour. Design, trial assembly, testing and traceability therefore say more about supply quality than model count.
