Altay: fur skis from working tool to snow culture

Fur-covered skis once served winter travel and work in the Altai Mountains and are now also transmitted through heritage practice, snow events and tourism displays. They illuminate a relationship with the snowy environment, but a modern resort, a festival race and traditional village use are different settings, none of which summarises the whole multi-community region.
