Wuwei Food Processing
Wuwei processes local agricultural and livestock resources into meat, grain, staple foods and roasted snacks. Citywide chain output and above-scale processing output use different scopes, while enterprise qualifications and sampled products stand separately.
Formation and regional foundations
Results for 2025 describe the citywide chain and above-scale processors. Industry reviews, investment catalogues, a provincial circular and an external sampling notice identify distinct products, counties and firms.
Wuwei processors occupy different counties and parks, with products ranging from meat and flour to roasted sunflower seeds. Chain output offers a broad measure, while company lists and sampling records show specific operating contexts.
Core geography: Food-processing nodes across Wuwei, Liangzhou and Minqin
Wuwei food-processing distribution
Meat, integrated foods and roasted snacks
Company examples reflect different product records; the map does not infer purchasing or sales links.
- Wuwei food-processing overview — Chain value spans several farm-product families.
- Meat processing — Beef resources connect slaughter with meat products.
- Grain and integrated foods — Grain, flour, staples and snacks coexist.
- Roasted and snack foods — Minqin sunflower seeds provide a concrete product clue.
- Yimulan Meat Processing — The firm connects beef processing with leading status.
- Gansu Dali Food — A provincial circular adds annual company status.
- Gansu Shacheng Food — One sunflower-seed sample traces to Minqin.
01 · Two scales for chain and processors
Four measures do not form one total.
Wuwei food processing needs both a municipal-chain view and exact production locations. Liangzhou, Minqin and individual parks differ in raw materials, product categories and logistics, and a company registration address may not be its plant. Chain output explains links between agriculture and processing, but a transaction still ties licences, lines, raw-material origin and delivery rhythm to one factory.
RMB 41.02 billion and RMB 9.197 billion refer respectively to total-chain output and output from above-scale agricultural-product processors.
Chain output, enterprise status, above-scale processing, investment projects and sampled products are not interchangeable.
- Output scope determines meaning.
02 · Reading four measures from 2025
The two enterprise groups use different scopes.
The official results report records RMB 41.02 billion in 2025 output across Wuwei's specialty agricultural-product and food-processing chain.
Adding the two output values would treat different scopes as parallel components, while subtracting RMB 9.197 billion from RMB 41.02 billion would invent an undefined remainder.
A time series should track chain value, leading-enterprise count, above-scale processors and their output separately.
- RMB 9.197 billion is not a stated chain component.
03 · Yimulan and meat processing
Enterprise status belongs to a specific year.
A 2023 Wuwei official review places Gansu Yimulan in a beef-processing and city specialty-agricultural chain context.
National leading-enterprise status belongs to a defined recognition period and does not describe all Yimulan products or current scale.
Yimulan’s meat-processing position should be read alongside its recognition year and current operation.
- Recognition does not replace product permits.
04 · Dali and integrated foods
Recognition and operating data stay separate.
A Wuwei official industry review places Gansu Dali among grain and food-processing examples and separates grain and oil, flour, staple foods, snack foods, and other systems.
Recognition in the provincial circular is not food-safety certification, a complete product catalogue, continuing ranking, current capacity, output, sales, revenue, customers, orders, exports, or market share.
Dali’s circular records its 2024 status, while the grain and food review explains its product setting.
- The product context extends beyond one grain line.
05 · A Minqin sunflower-seed sample
One sample describes one batch.
A 2024 sampling record from the Wuhan Qingshan market regulator covers an original-flavour sunflower-seed sample made by Gansu Shacheng Food Co., Ltd. The address points to Minqin County in Wuwei, the production date is 1 January 2024, and the category is roasted seeds and nut products. This connects plant, product, date and category for one batch but does not describe the company current full range or licence status.
One sampled product cannot expand into the company's complete product range, permanent licensing, continuing compliance, current operation, capacity, output, sales, revenue, customers, orders, exports, or market share.
Shacheng’s address, sunflower-seed name, production date and sampling category define this particular batch.
- Sampling cannot represent every company product.
06 · Counties, parks and investment projects
An opportunity is not a construction fact.
The Wuwei city frame contains distinct county, district, industrial-park, and international-land-port contexts, including Liangzhou and Minqin, but all four measures come from a citywide report.
An investment opportunity, proposal, preliminary study, or investment-solicitation status is not project approval, secured land, completed financing, construction, completion, commissioning, stable capacity, or sales.
An investment opportunity becomes production capacity only through filing, environmental review, construction, acceptance and operation.
- Project stages need a continuing record.
07 · Each company has its own context
Meat, integrated foods and snacks stay separate.
Yimulan is associated with beef and meat processing in Wuwei industry reporting.
Gansu Dali connects grain and integrated foods with a 2024 provincial recognition.
A batch of Gansu Shacheng original-flavour sunflower seeds was sampled by Wuhan Qingshan market regulators.
- Parallel description does not imply cooperation.
08 · Begin a visit with product categories
Ask separately about permits, sites and projects.
Meat, integrated foods and roasted sunflower seeds lead to three distinct Wuwei production settings.
Yimulan’s status, Dali’s recognition and Shacheng’s sampled batch share no single rating scale.
Wuwei meat processing, integrated foods and roasted sunflower seeds are different production settings and should not share one simple visit checklist. Meat calls for livestock origin, slaughter inspection and cold chain; mixed foods require recipe, allergen and line-cleaning controls; roasted seeds need moisture, roasting and moisture-proof packing. Each company still needs licence scope, actual plant, recent operation and current sales region confirmed before a pilot order.
- Production and sales need a defined period.
