Guang'an Wusheng bio-fermented hotpot base
The Guang’an Wusheng bio-fermented hotpot-base cluster is a formally recognised county-level industry group in Sichuan. Public accounts report more than 50 firms in Wusheng Hotpot Industrial Park and connect ingredients, pickle and base fermentation, compound seasoning, prepared foods, packing and cold chain; three full legal entities illustrate distinct parts of that network.
Formation and regional foundations
The institutional starting point is Sichuan’s final 2025 designation list. A later county account explains the working structure as a county-wide chain: the park is a window on firm concentration, while ingredient bases, processing projects and cold chain form a wider network. Company examples illustrate roles and are not a complete membership register.
The Wusheng County bio-fermented hotpot-base cluster is not an enlarged profile of one seasoning factory. The provincial list establishes its county-level identity, while county material places more than 50 park firms, ingredients, fermentation, seasoning, prepared foods and cold chain in one local food network. Company reading must still distinguish full legal entities, project phases and actual food categories.

From county designation to three food firms
The coordinate is a city-level public arrival reference for Guang'an returned by a public geocoder and is used only for travel planning; it is not a company entrance, the centre of Wusheng County or the cluster, a member location, or an industrial boundary.
- 2025 provincial designation — The provincial list confirms Wusheng County and the bio-fermented hotpot-base identity.
- Wusheng county food network — County material links park firms, ingredients, fermentation, food processing and cold chain.
- Sichuan Tangen Food Technology Co., Ltd. — Tangen’s disclosed phases span pickles, prepared ingredients, oils and meat products.
- Sichuan Honglang Food Co., Ltd. — Honglang is tied to packaged-food and condiment processing.
- Sichuan Fengheng Food Co., Ltd. — Fengheng is traceable across park, market-regulation and bean-product sampling records.
- Formula, packing and cold-chain delivery — Cooperation starts with a defined category and sample, then uses lot records to confirm delivery.
01 · Start with the official name and county boundary
The designation covers a county-level group of firms, not one factory or project.
Sichuan’s 2025 final list directly names the Wusheng County bio-fermented hotpot-base industry cluster. A later county account describes how that industry operates, adding the number of firms in the park, the leading industry’s share and dated output figures. One source establishes formal identity; the other explains local activity, so their figures and functions should not be treated as interchangeable.
The county account’s figure of more than 50 firms describes concentration in Wusheng Hotpot Industrial Park, while the formal cluster is framed by the county jurisdiction and its leading industry. The park is a useful window on production density, but it is not the whole county boundary. Keeping the two scopes separate preserves both the visible manufacturing core and the wider links to farms, suppliers and logistics.
Before a visit or purchase, confirm the counterparty’s full legal name, operating address and licensed address, then determine where it sits in the target product chain. The map point is only a city-level arrival reference for Guang’an and does not locate firms or draw a cluster boundary. Public descriptions should keep the provincial formal name rather than substituting the park, a food project or one company for the whole cluster.
- Section 1 turns “Start with the official name and county boundary” into dated facts and practical checks.
02 · One hotpot-base pack crosses several process lines
Ingredients, fermentation, oils, blending, packing and cold chain each require their own controls.
The county government describes a chain spanning ingredient cultivation, base fermentation, food processing and cold-chain logistics, with chilli, beef tallow, vegetable oil and pickles appearing in different stages. The shared theme is supply for hotpot and related foods, not a claim that every firm uses one fermentation method. Different ingredients and processes lead to different tests, storage conditions and shelf-life decisions.
Public updates on Sichuan Tangen Food Technology Co., Ltd. show this segmentation clearly. The earlier phase focuses on pickles, hotpot ingredients and prepared foods, while later construction extends toward edible oils and deep-processed meat. The legal entity remains the same, but product lines and project phases cannot be added together without distinction; operating, construction and planned capacity should be labelled separately.
A useful discussion starts with one formula and one use case. Restaurant frying, central-kitchen reheating, self-heating retail packs and home broth bases differ in heat level, fat setting, particle size and packaging-temperature needs. After a sample is agreed, check ingredient lots, fermentation or thermal records, allergens, net weight, transport temperature and handling after opening instead of asking only whether a supplier can make hotpot base.
- Section 2 turns “One hotpot-base pack crosses several process lines” into dated facts and practical checks.
03 · Tangen connects pickles, ingredients and later processing
Project phases disclosed at different dates must be checked separately under the same legal entity.
Two 2023 county-government accounts give the full legal name Sichuan Tangen Food Technology Co., Ltd. and place the project in Wusheng Hotpot Industrial Park. One lists pickles, hotpot ingredients and supporting products; the other specifies prepared supporting foods. Together they verify company, place and product direction, while their construction-stage timing does not by itself prove that all designed capacity was operating.
A 2026 Wusheng media report separates the phases: the first-phase pickle project is described as operating steadily, while the second phase focuses on oil processing and deep-processed meat. This is an extension of one product chain, not another company. Keeping the full legal entity as the main unit and then separating projects prevents multiple phases from being miscounted as multiple cluster members.
An enquiry to Tangen should specify pickles, prepared ingredients, oils and meat products separately. Pickles call for salt, acidity, fermentation-lot and microbiological checks; oils require origin, melting behaviour, oxidation and storage; meat products add raw-meat, cold-chain, heat-process and allergen controls. Validate one sample lot and the restaurant workflow before combining categories into a wider programme.

04 · Honglang covers packaged foods and condiment processing
Planning, environmental and project pages answer different questions about site, construction and products.
The county planning register lists Sichuan Honglang Food Co., Ltd. in full with a food production and processing project and a site in the eastern urban area. A 2025 environmental-acceptance notice names the same legal entity and places the project in the eastern Zhongtan section of Wusheng Economic Development Zone. These administrative pages verify company and location, but their primary purpose is planning and environmental procedure.
A 2023 county project report supplies the product detail: Honglang was building packaged-food and condiment lines and disclosed planned output for both categories. The article places the firm in the chain-extension context of Wusheng Hotpot Industrial Park and the Zhongtan development-zone section. It establishes direction and local connection, but not a substitute for a current production licence, current capacity or an exact product list.
For work with Honglang, break “packaged food” into an exact standard, package form and sales channel, then define “condiment” through ingredients, heat level, aroma profile and restaurant dosage. Construction-project figures are background only; production decisions need the current licence, equipment status and recent test results. Contract manufacturing also requires clear ownership of formulas, label responsibility, retained samples, complaint handling and recall roles.
- Section 4 turns “Honglang covers packaged foods and condiment processing” into dated facts and practical checks.
05 · Fengheng shows the packaged-food and labelling side
Park context, regulatory disclosure and a sampled product provide three distinct checks.
When explaining the provincial cluster, the county government says more than 50 firms, including Fengheng Food, are gathered in the hotpot park, and the same page uses the full legal name Sichuan Fengheng Food Co., Ltd. in its image caption. This establishes the firm’s place in the local food concentration; it does not mean every product is hotpot base, nor is the short name enough for legal-entity matching.
A Wusheng market-regulation notice adds another layer: the full legal name, unified registration code, Innovation Road address and complaints concerning food labels and foreign matter. A Langxi County food-sampling table connects the same legal entity and address to a specific spicy mushroom tofu snack. One page identifies the operator and regulatory issue; the other reaches an identifiable bean product.
When sourcing Fengheng bean products or other packaged foods, verify the food category under the actual product name rather than using the park’s “hotpot” label as a product standard. Check ingredients, principal bean or other inputs, spices, allergens, net content, production date, storage and handling after opening. The complaint notice warrants closer label and foreign-matter controls, but it does not establish a quality conclusion for undisclosed lots.
- Section 5 turns “Fengheng shows the packaged-food and labelling side” into dated facts and practical checks.
06 · Quality checks must follow the food category
Fermentation, heat processing, cold chain and ambient packs need different acceptance questions.
Pickles and fermented bases first require checks on ingredients, salt, acidity, culture or fermentation conditions, contamination control and lot consistency. Oils shift attention to fat origin, melting behaviour, oxidation, aroma retention and low-temperature condition, while meat products add raw-material traceability, core heat treatment and cold chain. A shared hotpot use does not create identical critical controls.
Packaged seasonings and bean foods add a full label review covering ingredients, additives, allergens, net quantity, dates, storage and preparation. The Wusheng market notice shows why label responsibility cannot be left until the end, while the Langxi sampling table demonstrates that legal entity, address, exact product name and food category should correspond. A new pack size or specification requires that relationship to be checked again.
Before ordering, obtain the current production licence and scope, applicable standard, recent test reports and a sample in the target specification. A pilot lot should retain matched samples, production date, ingredient lots, package revision and transport record, with deviation handling agreed in advance. Foodservice products also need a simulation of store storage, opening, dosing and peak-time use so laboratory conformity translates into stable operation.
- Section 6 turns “Quality checks must follow the food category” into dated facts and practical checks.
07 · Move from a sample to dependable delivery
Formula, pack, lot and store procedure need one traceable record.
Wusheng’s public industry account describes an ecosystem from ingredient bases and processing workshops to cold-chain logistics, providing useful context for collaboration. Delivery still comes down to one product and one lot. The same flavour in a foodservice pouch, retail sachet or self-heating meal pack changes filling, sealing, transport-impact and after-opening controls, so one formula alone does not make the formats equivalent.
The product range visible across the three firms offers different entry points. Tangen can be approached through one pickle or prepared ingredient, Honglang through one packaged seasoning, and Fengheng through a bean product or another clearly classified packaged food. A small, defined starting point makes it easier to identify whether a problem comes from formula, process or packaging than a request spanning several food categories at once.
Scale should follow a successful pilot, with change control written into the agreement. A change in ingredient origin, chilli lot, fat source, spice ratio, thermal process, packaging supplier or label revision should trigger advance notice and a decision on renewed samples and tests. Transport terms should cover temperature, stacking, leakage and damaged packs so a conforming factory lot remains stable in transit.
- Section 7 turns “Move from a sample to dependable delivery” into dated facts and practical checks.
08 · A practical sequence for entering the Wusheng food network
Define the product, identify the legal entity, then validate samples, site and lots.
The first step is not a broad company list but a concise product brief covering use, target flavour, consumers, pack size, storage and expected volume. Public material helps identify likely roles: Tangen spans pickles and extended ingredient processing, Honglang packaged foods and seasonings, and Fengheng packaged bean foods with label controls. Each firm must still confirm its current supply scope after that first screen.
The second step sends a question list to the full legal entity and checks whether the contracting and manufacturing operators match, and whether the plant address corresponds across licence, contract and invoice. For phased or expanding projects, confirm which qualified operating line will make the target product. Park profiles and project reports provide context, but they do not replace supplier-approval documents.
The third step closes the loop through a target-specification sample, recent testing, the actual process and one pilot lot before a long-term commitment. Acceptance records should trace ingredients, formula revision, production date, package revision, transport and restaurant feedback. Each source proves only what its page states; current operations, licence validity and commercial terms all need fresh confirmation before contract.

Sources and reading notes
Cluster identity relies only on mainland Chinese provincial and county government material. Each company has three page-checked government or official-media sources using its full legal name, collectively covering Wusheng and an identifiable food direction. Construction figures are not treated as current capacity, and complaint information is not extended to undisclosed lots.
- Formal designation: Sichuan’s final 2025 list names the Wusheng County bio-fermented hotpot-base industry cluster.
- Local activity: the county government reports more than 50 firms in the park and a chain from ingredient cultivation and base fermentation to cold-chain logistics.
- Representative legal entities: Sichuan Tangen Food Technology Co., Ltd., Sichuan Honglang Food Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Fengheng Food Co., Ltd. are each verified under their full legal names.
- The map shows only a city-level arrival reference for Guang’an and must not be read as a company address, the centre of Wusheng County or an industrial boundary.
