Weifang Food Processing

Weifang food processing combines a broad municipal agricultural base with specialised products in several county-level cities. Zhucheng is associated with frozen and prepared foods, while Anqiu connects agricultural products such as ginger to processing.

Formation and regional foundations

Enterprise counts and green or organic product counts come from 2025 reporting and describe different populations. Provincial chain policy and three technical-upgrading directories place products and named projects in particular years.

Weifang food processing is not a single park but a network of products and firms across Zhucheng, Anqiu, Shouguang and other places. Enterprise counts, product designations and project directories each describe a different layer.

Core geography: Weifang food processing across the municipality, Zhucheng and Anqiu

Weifang food-processing distribution

Zhucheng, Anqiu and municipal support

Planned production areas and company projects keep their original locations; links do not imply trade.

  • Weifang food-processing overview — The municipal agricultural base supports county specialities.
  • Zhucheng frozen foods — Prepared and frozen projects appear in Zhucheng.
  • Anqiu agricultural processing — Ginger and other inputs connect with local processing.
  • Products and technical upgrading — Product designations and project directories use distinct scopes.
  • Jiashibo Food — Its Zhucheng project uses seaweed in frozen foods.
  • Huifa Food — The second phase records designed frozen-food capacity.
  • Anqiu Chunhua Food — Its agricultural-processing project sits in Anqiu.

01 · Municipal and county scopes differ

One industry name spans several geographies.

The Weifang municipal food chain provides the broad setting for coordination between agriculture and processing, but actual products remain tied to county-level cities. Zhucheng frozen and prepared foods and their equipment network differ in supply radius and cold-chain rhythm from Anqiu projects built around agricultural inputs. A plant discussion therefore keeps county, product category and project year together rather than letting the label Weifang food stand for every detail.

Time also needs layers. The 2023 production-region plan, 2024 manufacturing-chain report, December 2025 city measures, and 2026 directory respectively record planning, organisation, a statistical snapshot, and project listing.

A figure or project becomes meaningful only with its location, measured population and year.

  • A Zhucheng project remains local to Zhucheng.

02 · Enterprises and products form separate sets

The four counts cannot be added.

All four measures come from one agriculture-ministry-hosted release: Weifang had 1,366 above-scale agricultural-product processing enterprises and had cumulatively cultivated 145 provincial-level or higher agricultural leading enterprises; as of December 2025, the city had 521 green-food products and 126 organic products.

The four numbers cannot be added into an industry total or divided to form products per enterprise.

Longer trends belong in separate series for companies, green foods and organic products rather than one blended curve.

  • Product designation is not company scale.

03 · A diverse agricultural-processing base

Inputs, processes and rules shape categories.

Weifang reporting uses distinct concepts for agricultural processing, leading agricultural enterprises and food-manufacturing chains.

Above-scale agricultural-product processors are not the same as food-manufacturing enterprises, and agricultural leading enterprises need not occupy one processing stage.

Starting from inputs and processes clarifies where spirits, starch sugar, prepared dishes and ginger belong.

  • Agricultural leaders extend beyond food manufacturing.

04 · Jiashibo’s seaweed frozen-food project

The directory records a planned boundary.

The Shandong 2024 guidance directory of key enterprise technical-upgrading projects identifies Shandong Jiashibo Food Co., Ltd., places it in Zhucheng, Weifang, assigns a food-industry category, and records a technical-upgrading project for frozen functional products using deep-processed seaweed.

Inclusion in a guidance directory is not every required approval, on-time completion, or commissioning, and planned dates, investment, and financing stay outside the four city measures.

Jiashibo’s actual progress depends on filing, equipment, production permission and operation rather than its directory title.

  • Directory inclusion does not mean commissioning.

05 · Huifa phase-two capacity wording

Design capacity is not actual output.

The Shandong 2023 directory for key technical-upgrading projects records a second-phase frozen-food project of Shandong Huifa Food Co., Ltd. in Zhucheng, Weifang, with designed annual capacity of 80,000 tonnes. That capacity is a project description, not current stable output or sales. Actual delivery ability still depends on commissioned phase-two equipment, licensed products, operating shifts and current orders.

The planned 80,000 tonnes cannot be presented as current stable output, actual sales, or realised capacity.

Huifa phase two remains separate from phase one, and designed capacity, output and sales are not interchangeable.

  • The 80,000 tonnes is a project parameter.

06 · Chunhua’s project sits in Anqiu

Full-chain belongs to the project title.

The Shandong 2026 guidance directory of key enterprise technical-upgrading projects identifies Anqiu Chunhua Food Co., Ltd., places it in Anqiu, Weifang, classifies it within food manufacturing, identifies the food-and-biomanufacturing landmark chain, and records a full-chain agricultural-product processing project.

Full-chain project is the directory title and does not mean the company already covers cultivation, purchasing, processing, storage, logistics, and sales or that the project is complete and commissioned.

Chunhua’s reach across primary processing, food manufacturing and distribution depends on its site, permitted products and operations.

  • The title does not prove complete chain coverage.

07 · Three projects, three time coordinates

Different directories record different company states.

Jiashibo’s Zhucheng project concerns frozen functional foods using processed seaweed.

Huifa’s second phase is also in Zhucheng and carries a planned 80,000-tonne frozen-food capacity.

Chunhua’s Anqiu project sits within food manufacturing and agricultural-product processing.

  • Parallel listing creates no business relationship.

08 · Explore opportunities by county product

Zhucheng and Anqiu merit separate enquiries.

Zhucheng offers a view of frozen and prepared foods, while Anqiu is closer to agricultural-input processing.

The three upgrading directories come from different years and cannot rank company scale.

A Weifang food partnership can begin with one defined product and market rather than assuming that every directory project has reached full output. A Zhucheng route looks closely at freezing, cold storage and prepared-food channels, while an Anqiu route asks about seasonal inputs, grading and primary processing. Initial talks should verify project status, licensed items, processes actually running and cold-chain handoffs before a small order tests delivery and quality response.

  • Project progress should match current approvals.
