Optical Components Industrial Cluster of Xinzhou District, Shangrao City

Xinzhou District’s optical-components cohort covers lenses, optical instruments and related manufacturing. Formal cluster recognition and categories such as above-scale or high-tech status describe different parts of its structure.

Formation and regional foundations

Shangrao’s optical manufacturing experience, concentration in Xinzhou and innovation programmes built enterprise density. The overall company count and several qualification groups may overlap.

This optical-components cluster is formally bounded to Xinzhou District, not all of Shangrao. Total enterprises, above-scale firms, high-tech companies and specialised SMEs may overlap, so the four counts are not additive.

Cluster boundary, cohorts and firms shown separately

Xinzhou optical-enterprise links distinguishes boundaries and qualification cohorts without ranking company size.

  • Xinzhou optical-component manufacturing network — Formal recognition uses the Xinzhou optical-components cluster as its unit
  • Xinzhou optical-electronics enterprise-base cohort — More than seventy firms describe the reported optical-electronics population
  • Xinzhou above-scale enterprise cohort — Thirty-two above-scale firms form a size category within the population
  • Xinzhou innovation-qualified enterprise cohorts — High-tech and specialised-SME qualifications may overlap
  • Shangrao Xizhong recorded regulator and proposed-list node — Xizhong connects company identity, registration and a proposed list
  • Shangrao Ronghe recorded proposed-list and high-tech-recognition node — Ronghe Optoelectronic has proposed-list and high-tech facets
  • Shangrao Weihao recorded employment and high-tech-recognition node — Weihao links an optical-employment case with high-tech status

01 · The formal boundary is Xinzhou District

Shangrao is the parent place name and does not widen district figures to the whole city.

The formal unit in the 2024 MIIT list is the Optical Components Industrial Cluster of Xinzhou District, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, with a three-year recognition-period context. Enterprise-cohort figures in the January 2026 Workers Daily report are also explicitly limited to Xinzhou District. Shangrao City is only the website navigation umbrella; It does not convert either the recognised cluster or the four metrics into a municipality-wide scope. That boundary keeps navigation, recognition, and measured geography in their proper roles.

Municipality, district, development zone, and company site are not interchangeable. Xinzhou District supplies the formal cluster name and enterprise-cohort scope. The 2024 proposed-entry list supplies only the registration-location label used by its grouping. Xizhong Optical's environmental registration separately identifies a production and operating site in the Shangrao Economic and Technological Development Zone. Each geographic term remains responsible only for the fact in its own record. Record-specific geography prevents a single facility from redrawing the district cluster.

Use of the industry retains the full formal cluster name, Xinzhou District scope, recognition year, and report date. A new Shangrao-wide total cannot directly update any of the four Xinzhou cohort figures. A new document identifying one company site cannot expand into a cluster boundary either. A like-for-like update aligns geography, measured population, date, and factual status at the same time. Separate update paths protect Xinzhou figures from broader municipal substitutions.

  • The full name, recognition year and validity period jointly define the cluster identity.

02 · Four enterprise counts may overlap

Total, size, technology and specialised status are not mutually exclusive.

A report recorded 6 January 2026 records more than 70 optical-electronics enterprises located in Xinzhou District, including 32 above-scale enterprises. The same report lists 18 high-tech enterprises and four provincial specialised and innovative SMEs. The first measure is an open-ended total observation, while the latter three are scale or innovation classifications. They share a report date but no rule of mutual exclusivity. A shared report date aligns observation time without making classifications exclusive.

More than 70, 32, 18, and four cannot be added into 124. One enterprise may simultaneously be above-scale, high-tech, and a provincial specialised and innovative SME, while more than 70 is not an exact integer. The figures cannot become output value, production, employment, capacity, product mix, or the scale of any selected company. Incomplete set relationships do not support subtraction-based estimates. Leaving unknown intersections unresolved is more accurate than manufacturing a synthetic total.

A consistent time series should seek a common-date roster, classification definitions, and overlap information and record the four measures separately. Without a roster, no above-scale and high-tech intersection is estimated. Without an exact total, more than 70 is not treated as 70. Every ratio, average, or trend requires aligned observations from multiple dates rather than a synthetic time series built from one report. Independent metric records allow one stale figure to be replaced without altering the others.

  • More than seventy, thirty-two, eighteen and four describe different sets and cannot be summed.

03 · Recognition supplies identity, not a complete roster

The formal list confirms an industrial unit without listing every firm or product.

The complete notice reproduced by a provincial industry department lists the Xinzhou District optical-components cluster as item 45. It states a three-year recognition period for the 2024 characteristic industrial clusters for SMEs. Workers Daily separately supplies a recorded Xinzhou optoelectronics enterprise-cohort observation. One record closes the formal name and recognition, while the other supplies the four cohort figures. Recognition and reporting documents perform different evidentiary functions.

Official recognition does not mean that the record provides a complete company roster, product scope, output value, physical production, or supply and demand relationships. The words Shangrao City in the formal name express administrative hierarchy, while the specific cluster unit remains Xinzhou District. The report's optical-electronics enterprise wording cannot become a complete MIIT cluster membership roster merely because it resembles the cluster name. Administrative hierarchy in a name does not enlarge the measured population.

A recognition citation retains the 2024 cohort year, the formal name, and the three-year validity context. Determining whether recognition remains effective requires the start point, policy rule, and later notices; a report-access date cannot substitute for that work. Enterprise figures belong to the January 2026 report date and cannot be backfilled into the 2024 designation date. Keeping publication and validity dates visible prevents indefinite extension of historical status.

  • Output value, production and buyer-supplier ties need other statistics or transaction facts.

04 · Qualifications reveal the innovation structure

High-tech and specialised-SME labels are attributes under different programmes.

Workers Daily assigns a count of 18 to its high-tech-enterprise cohort. A separate June 2026 China Employment Network report says Xinzhou District compiled 18 specialised and innovative SMEs. Although the two figures are numerically equal, they belong to different dates, qualification names, and reporting purposes. The metric set follows the earlier qualification category and does not import the equal SME count. Equal numbers with different qualification labels remain separate observations.

The employment report's other 18-company figure does not enter the metrics and does not verify Workers Daily's 18 high-tech enterprises. High-tech and specialised and innovative are different qualification contexts. Their rosters may overlap, but the records do not publish the intersection. The 32 above-scale enterprises may also include some innovation-qualified companies, so an exclusive distribution cannot be calculated. Numerical coincidence cannot prove that two qualification rosters contain the same entities.

A structural inquiry can build a roster keyed by exact company name, qualification type, recognition year, and validity period. Only aligned names allow the intersection of above-scale, high-tech, and specialised-SME statuses to be described. The employment report's 18 can serve as a separate research lead, but it does not replace a core metric before its full roster and scope are available. A complete named roster is the prerequisite for any intersection calculation.

  • Cohort quality depends on qualification validity and actual technical capability.

05 · Registration and production sites may differ

A Xinzhou list grouping supplies a location label without replacing a factory address.

The first proposed 2024 technology-based SME cohort lists Xizhong Optical and Ronghe Optoelectronic in its Xinzhou District grouping. The MEE platform separately records a June 2025 change version for Xizhong Optical at a production and operating site in Shengqi Optical Industrial Park in the Shangrao Economic and Technological Development Zone. A formal 2022 high-tech-enterprise list names Ronghe Optoelectronic and Weihao Optical. Each document supplies an identity clue without creating one unified operating status.

The proposed list's Xinzhou grouping is the registration-location label used by that list and does not erase the development-zone production site in the environmental registration. Conversely, one development-zone site cannot expand Xinzhou cohort metrics into a zone or citywide total. The environmental registration supplies a recorded site and optical-instrument-manufacturing category, not continuous current production or a company-wide compliance conclusion. Parallel display of site and grouping labels preserves the traceability of both records.

A current-status check separately obtains entity registration, production site, permission or registration version, final listing result, and qualification validity. Proposed for listing always remains a candidate status unless a later final document names the same entity. A 2022 high-tech recognition describes that year's list context and does not automatically mean that the status remains effective in 2026. Status verbs keep proposed entry distinct from completed recognition over time.

  • Proposed status, final recognition and environmental registration occupy different procedural stages.

06 · Three companies have different identity trails

Xizhong, Ronghe and Weihao leave different traces through registration, lists, employment or qualifications.

The company identity of Shangrao Xizhong Optical Technology Co., Ltd. is cross-checked through an environmental registration and the proposed 2024 listing list. The former closes a recorded development-zone production site, optical-instrument-manufacturing category, and registration version. The latter closes only the legal name in the Xinzhou grouping and proposed-entry status. They prove no continuous current operation, final register entry, ownership, capacity, output, revenue, customers, or company relation. Matching administrative identities do not demonstrate continuous business activity.

Shangrao Ronghe Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. receives an company identity in the Xinzhou grouping of the proposed 2024 entry list and a recorded recognition context in the formal 2022 high-tech-enterprise list. The records do not establish current operation, final technology-based SME register entry, specific products, ownership, capacity, output, revenue, customers, orders, or a relationship with another company appearing in this entry. Proposed entry and historical recognition together still do not establish current status.

Shangrao Weihao Optical Instrument Co., Ltd. receives an company identity from a recorded Xinzhou optics-employment example on the national public-employment platform and the formal 2022 high-tech-enterprise list. The employment example records the report-date context of hiring Shangrao-origin graduates. The records supply no specific products, ownership, capacity, output, revenue, market share, current qualification status, or company relation. An employment example answers a talent question rather than an operating-scale question.

  • The traces identify entities without automatically supplying output, customers or orders.

07 · Proposed entry and recognition are not interchangeable

A proposed list preserves a process that was not yet final.

The June employment report, proposed-entry list, and formal high-tech list answer different questions: an employment example, a proposed-entry stage, and a recognition that occurred. The employment account identifies Weihao Optical. Xizhong Optical and Ronghe Optoelectronic appear in the proposed-entry record, while the completed high-tech recognition associates certificate numbers with Ronghe Optoelectronic and Weihao Optical. Repeated identities connect public records without merging the three administrative states. Identity can align across documents while status remains governed by each document date.

Proposed for listing cannot be rewritten as listed or finally recognised because the record itself preserves candidate status. The high-tech list establishes a 2022 recognition fact but does not say whether the qualification remains current. One company appearing across lists does not make the lists equivalent and does not establish investment, supply, or transaction relation with another company. Candidate, recognition, and employment states have no common unit for conversion.

A A current assessment can search by exact entity name for a final listing notice, later high-tech recognition, entity registration, production permission, and recent employment records. An employment report can begin an inquiry into talent context, but it cannot estimate total employment or production scale. Each new fact retains its document date and status verb so that a historical record does not become a current guarantee. New status documents are stronger than guesses derived from an older roster.

  • A current assessment needs the later outcome rather than turning an early notice into a conclusion.

08 · Optical procurement returns to specifications

Cluster size describes the supply environment; product choice depends on precision and consistency.

The MIIT notice confirms the formal name and recognition of the Xinzhou District optical-components cluster. Workers Daily reports total, above-scale, high-tech and specialised-enterprise cohorts that may overlap. Employment reporting, environmental registration, a proposed technology-SME list and a high-tech-enterprise list add only dated identity, site or recognition evidence for three sample firms. District cohorts and company records can be read together, but they establish no supply relationship among the firms.

Cross-region comparison first aligns formal cluster level, enterprise classification, report date, and list status. Xinzhou's more-than-70 figure cannot be directly compared with an exact municipality-wide company total. Its 32 above-scale enterprises cannot be compared with a mutually exclusive product segment either. Proposed entry and formal recognition are different states, while a registration label and a production site are different kinds of geographic evidence. Comparison becomes reliable only when scope and factual state are aligned together.

A visit, procurement, or partnership inquiry can use four separate tracks: cluster recognition, enterprise-cohort structure, site and qualification, and one company's operation. It can then request recent registration, product specifications, production permissions, testing, output, contracts, and delivery material from a named entity. A supply, customer, order, shared-equipment, logistics, or technology link requires a direct recorded document naming both parties; Otherwise no relation is established. An absent relationship remains blank so shared geography does not become a supply chain.

  • Lens material, coating, dimensional tolerance, cleanliness and test reports need item-by-item confirmation.
