Luzhou Longmatan port and commercial logistics
Longmatan places a Yangtze terminal, wholesale markets, warehouses and urban roads within a compact area, yet proximity does not move cargo automatically. Every ordinary commercial shipment needs a booking number, waybill, seal, storage location, dispatch note and receipt to show who held it at each moment.
Formation and regional foundations
Luzhou Port’s river gateway, Southwest Trade City’s wholesale activity and port infrastructure built by district groups form layered transitions from water to road, terminal to market and bulk lot to city delivery. Efficiency depends on operators sharing an accurate cargo identity and time window, not on park area itself.
Open a daybook for cargo with a precise description, quantity and pack. From terminal or market booking, record unloading, counting, location, internal move, picking, vehicle loading, receipt and charge. Port and market provide the setting; the daybook explains every actual handover.
Core geography: The scope covers Luzhou Port container and general cargo operations in Longmatan, Southwest Trade City markets and distribution, district port-logistics projects and ordinary-freight forwarding, sorting, inventory and urban delivery. Dangerous, restricted or undocumented cargo is excluded; baijiu appears only as an ordinary compliant packaged good in logistics, not as production technology.

Six timestamps join the cargo trail
Nodes pass piece count, package condition and custodian. A line shows sequence only and does not establish a permanent carrier relationship.
- Time-slot booking — Goods, vehicle, arrival mode and work needs obtain a slot.
- Gate snapshot — Entry time, seal, condition and papers form the starting state.
- Discharge tally — Equipment, count, damage and variance are logged at handling.
- Storage address — Zone, row, slot and every move form a findable address.
- Route consolidation — Dispatch goods, vehicle, receiving window and load order match.
- Proof of delivery — Arrival, received count, variance, photos and charges return to the shipment.
01 · Page one names what is actually inside the cases
“Consumer goods” or “building products” is too broad for handling and storage.
The instruction states full description, pieces, unit weight, dimensions, pack form, stacking, storage and declared value. Mixed cases also list inner assortment and outer marks.
Two loads both called food may need different waiting and storage when one is ambient and another temperature controlled. Cargo characteristics determine resources, not the other way round.
The customer confirmation connects description with waybill, package photographs and prohibited handling. A changed description triggers fresh pricing and slot planning before equipment or storage proves unsuitable on arrival.
02 · A booking number finds time and equipment first
Incoming cargo does not mean a berth, bay or forklift is free.
Booking places arrival, transport mode, vehicle or voyage, work volume, equipment and contact into dispatch. Terminal, market and warehouse may issue separate numbers, so the daybook maps them.
Estimated time is a plan; vessel arrival, road congestion and earlier work may shift it. Dispatch updates continuously instead of allowing an expired booking to reserve resources.
Near arrival, the carrier sends location and cause of change; the operator returns a revised gate, waiting area or work window. Both confirmation times enter the shipment communication log.
03 · One minute at the gate fixes the starting condition
Before signature, vehicle, cargo, seal and papers must recognise one another.
Gate intake records vehicle or transport unit, arrival, booking, seal, package condition, temperature need and documents. Exception photographs are taken before opening or unsealing.
A dent may predate arrival or occur during waiting or transfer. Without a jointly agreed starting condition, later damage cannot be assigned confidently to a handover.
When goods and documents disagree, gate-in pauses and the variance, marks and contact decision are recorded. Corrected papers, amended entry or return each retain time and authorising person.
04 · At discharge, tally turns movement into evidence
Every lift, landing and transfer has a count and condition.
Before work, confirm equipment, bearing points, pallet or lifting gear, people and exclusion area. The tally records discharged pieces, package damage and spillage as it happens.
Speed that causes crushing, misplaced fork entry or torn packing creates damage that orderly storage cannot undo. Efficiency is measured together with cargo condition.
Variant pieces are separated with temporary marks, and photographs show context, detail and waybill. Cargo owner and operator decide whether to store, repack or hold for inspection.
05 · A storage slot is an address that can find the cargo
“Stored” alone does not say where the cargo now sits.
The receipt links zone, row, level and slot with waybill, count and package condition. Split storage lists each sublocation, and every move records origin and destination.
Memory-based placement may look convenient at low volume but causes extra moves and mis-picks across shifts, replenishment and counting. A readable address reduces both search time and unnecessary handling.
Cycle count compares system quantity, physical goods and seal condition, tracing a variance to the latest move or pick. The reason is established before inventory is adjusted.
06 · The dispatch bench places the shipment on the right vehicle
Correct goods, correct order and the receiving window matter equally.
The dispatch task states address, contact, receiving window, pieces, vehicle conditions and unloading limits. Picker, checker and loader leave separate names and times.
In multi-stop delivery, loading by picking order may bury the first drop, while poor heavy–light arrangement can damage packs. Route and loading plan therefore share one diagram.
Before sealing, scan or count every piece and photograph loading and seal. A last-minute addition or removal creates a revised load list; the driver does not carry unlisted goods on an oral instruction.
07 · Delivery finishes after the consignee actually counts
A vehicle at the address marks the start of the final handover.
At arrival, the driver records time, waiting reason, unloading place and receiving person. The consignee counts against papers, checks pack and seal, and writes any variance on proof of delivery.
A closed shop, occupied bay or absent contact creates waiting between arrival and delivery. Transit performance distinguishes road time from consignee dwell.
For rejection or shortage, photograph cargo condition, quantity and both comments and return them to dispatch. An authorised person chooses return, redelivery or temporary storage; the driver does not improvise disposal.
08 · The final page returns every charge to when it arose
A total-price dispute needs waiting, handling, storage and delivery separated.
Settlement itemises base freight, handling, storage, moves, waiting, redelivery and other agreed charges, linking each to contract and event record. Tax and refunds appear separately.
A park capability or group operating scale cannot prove that this shipment incurred a particular charge. Billing rests on its operations, not regional headline figures.
Dispute handling orders contract, booking change, gate time, tally, storage move, receipt and photographs. The parties address recorded differences and post the final adjustment to the shipment identity.
Sources and reading notes
Cargo identity combines order, waybill, piece count and package marks; responsibility changes at each handover. The port company, market operator, warehouse and delivery carrier are not collapsed into one logistics firm, and promoted transit time does not replace stamped time.
- Luzhou Port company information confirms its Jingang Road address in Longmatan, while Shanghai Shipping Exchange material describes the port’s Yangtze shipping role.
- Southwest Trade City discloses wholesale markets, warehousing and local delivery, while regional development material places those activities in Longmatan’s modern logistics setting.
- Longchi Group publishes port-logistics projects, and annual exchange disclosure establishes the district group’s legal identity and business organisation.
- Terminal area, commercial floor space and historical transaction value are different measures; none directly represents the actual transit time of a shipment.
