Linfen Specialty Agri-food Processing

Linfen’s agri-food economy is a collection of local products. Huozhou nianmo has counts, annual output and value; Xixian contributes a large pear supply; Hongdong, Houma, Xiangning and Fenxi add traditional foods, chilli, wine and tomato processing. The measures cover different years and populations, so they do not form a citywide total.

Formation and regional foundations

Festival demand sustained Huozhou’s dense base of small nianmo producers, while county crops and local tastes created other processing paths. Pears, chillies, grapes and tomatoes extend through sorting, drying, winemaking or sauce production. The three firms illustrate particular products and places without implying trade among them.

No single figure captures all of Linfen’s specialty foods. Huozhou nianmo offers the fullest industry snapshot, Xixian pears are measured at the raw-material stage, and the other counties contribute product or company clues. Any comparison should first identify whether it concerns workshops, farm output or processing.

Core geography: Linfen and the product localities of Huozhou, Hongdong, Houma, Xixian, Xiangning and Fenxi

Linfen’s local food geography

Product clues across six localities

Each node represents a separate local product observation.

  • Linfen municipal specialty agricultural and food-processing regional overview — The municipal view places several local foods side by side.
  • HuoZhou nianmo production context — Huozhou nianmo has producer, output and value measures.
  • Hongdong traditional jujube-and-rice food context — Hongdong is represented by traditional foods such as jujube rice.
  • Houma chili sorting, drying, packing, and processing context — Houma focuses on chilli sorting, drying and packing.
  • Xixian pear supply and processing context — Xixian pear data primarily describes county fruit supply.
  • Xiangning grape and wine context — Xiangning joins grape growing, winemaking and agritourism.
  • Fenxi tomato and tomato-sauce processing context — Fenxi shows tomato cultivation moving into sauce processing.

01 · Start with municipal and county scale

Local products coexist without one municipal total.

Linfen Specialty Agri-food Processing is presented as a Linfen municipal regional overview, not an officially recognised operating supply chain across HuoZhou, Hongdong, Houma, Xixian, Xiangning, and Fenxi. Six original tax-regulator publications separately supply dated contexts for HuoZhou nianmo, Hongdong traditional foods, Houma chili, Xixian pear, Xiangning wine, and Fenxi tomato processing. Linfen Municipality is only a reading umbrella. Products, companies, and numbers stay with their county or county-level city rather than becoming citywide statistics or a cross-place operating network.

Shared municipal jurisdiction and a food-processing theme establish only geographic and product-category links from the city frame to local nodes. They do not show raw materials, orders, transport, or technology moving among the six places. HuoZhou nianmo totals, Xixian raw pear output, one Houma company’s processing observation, and a Hongdong founding statement use different subjects and units. Placing them in one chain would confuse industry totals, a supply base, and company observations. Stated dates from 2024 to 2026 also do not automatically form stages of one development sequence.

A visitor can create one card for each of the six places, recording administrative level, product, regulator stated date, measured subject, unit, and company identity before planning an origin or factory visit. A cross-place or intercompany relation is added only with bilateral contracts, transport records, statutory disclosure, or regulatory documents. Shared jurisdiction, similar products, tax-authority coverage, and publication co-appearance are insufficient for an arrow. Without consolidated municipal statistics, the observation frame estimates no combined scale and does not label local examples as representative Linfen-wide capacity.

  • Every figure stays with its locality.

02 · Huozhou nianmo has dense production

Workshop count, annual output and value show local scale.

A Shanxi provincial tax stated dated 17 January 2025 reports more than 160 HuoZhou nianmo enterprises and workshops, annual output of 30 million kilograms, more than 5,000 jobs, and annual output value above RMB 200 million. All four are observations for the HuoZhou nianmo industry. This entry uses the enterprise-and-workshop count, annual output, and annual output value as three core metrics, while employment remains same-publication context. They are not Linfen-wide food-processing data and are not allocated to Huomomo Food Technology Development Co., Ltd.

More than 160 combines enterprises and workshops and cannot become exactly 160 companies. Above RMB 200 million and more than 5,000 also retain lower-bound qualifiers. Thirty million kilograms is an annual-output expression, but the stated date does not identify a complete statistical year and cannot yield present monthly output, a firm average, or future supply. Entity, mass, employment, and monetary values use different units and cannot be added. Huomomo’s appearance as an example gives it no share of the industry totals and implies no market position.

Updating HuoZhou nianmo requires a later record under the same authority or statistical definition, confirming whether enterprises and workshops remain combined, the product definition is unchanged, and the annual output and value share a data period. Holiday-season orders or one company’s output remain short-term or entity observations and do not replace the industry total. A producer visit separately checks food permission, product standard, batch testing, shelf life, cooling, packaging, and delivery records. Regional reputation and industry scale do not replace quality and performance responsibility for a particular batch.

  • Festival food supports established local specialisation.

03 · Xixian pears connect supply and processing

Pear output is clearer than downstream processing performance.

A Linfen municipal tax stated dated 16 June 2025 describes Xixian pear compliance services across cultivation, processing, and export, and reports total county pear output of 192 million jin and output value of RMB 480 million for 2024. The four-metric contract retains only 192 million jin as a supply-base context with an explicit year and county; RMB 480 million remains supplementary county information. The 192-million-jin figure is not output of pear juice, dried pear, or another deeply processed product, nor is it present output, a Linfen-wide value, or a company metric.

Total pear output can enter fresh sales, storage, primary processing, or other destinations. The publication supplies no deeper-processing share, loss rate, or finished-product conversion factor, so 192 million jin cannot estimate processing capacity or finished goods. County output value is not processing operating revenue and cannot be added to HuoZhou nianmo value as a Linfen food-industry total. Cultivation, processing, and export appearing in one compliance narrative show observed stages, not operation by one company or a fixed transaction route among them.

Assessing a Xixian pear-processing opportunity separates orchard output, commercial grade, intake volume, cold-storage loss, processing input, finished yield, food permission, and export batches. If raw-material and processing years differ, two timelines remain; jin and kilograms use an explicit conversion while preserving the original unit. A company claiming Xixian pears needs procurement, traceability, or batch records rather than an automatic allocation from county output. Export capability also requires destination rules, inspection and quarantine, the registered entity, and actual customs declarations.

  • Raw supply is not finished-product sales.

04 · Hongdong flavours and Houma chillies

The two places show traditional meals and vegetable processing.

Tax-regulator publications describe Hongdong traditional foods such as bogao, jujube-and-rice steamed food, and smoked chicken, while identifying Shanxi Jiubaofeng Food Co., Ltd. As founded in 2020 and observed in industrialised steamed-food production at the 2024 stated date. Another publication records chili sorting, drying, packing, and deeper processing by Shanxi Zhimakaimen Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. In Houma, with company observations of two lines and average daily processing of 500 tonnes. The two sets belong separately to Hongdong traditional foods and one Houma company and cannot be combined.

A 2020 founding statement is not a guarantee of years in continuing operation and does not establish Jiubaofeng’s present capacity, output, or orders. Two lines and 500 tonnes per day belong only to the Zhimakaimen company-attributed observation on a July 2026 publication. They cannot become Houma chili-industry or Linfen-wide measures, and a daily rate without operating days cannot yield annual output. Jujube-and-rice steamed food and chili processing share a food category but no evidence of common inputs, customers, or equipment; similar tax services also do not establish a transaction between the companies.

A Hongdong traditional-food visit can check recipe, ingredient origin, steaming or smoking process, food permission, packaging labels, and cold-chain requirements. A Houma chili visit instead examines raw-material season, sorting standard, drying temperature, package specification, line operation, and actual daily-processing logs. Company publication figures need updates through recent equipment lists, production records, and statutory disclosure rather than extension from promotion or a publication title. Any cross-place cooperation needs a specific contract, delivered batch, and both legal entities; the municipal frame itself supplies no cooperation evidence.

  • Related foods do not imply linked firms.

05 · Xiangning wine and Fenxi tomatoes

Winemaking and sauce production follow different routes.

A July 2024 tax publication places Xiangning grape cultivation, wine production, and related agritourism within a located winemaking context; market assessments, company operation, and brand descriptions remain with the original subject and date. Another publication from August 2024 records Fenxi tomato cultivation and tomato-sauce steps including washing, peeling, cutting, cooking, and bottling, together with a cooperative factory and cold store. Both nodes support product and processing-stage observations, but neither provides production totals transferable to the whole county or municipality.

Adjacent grape cultivation, winemaking, and agritourism do not establish one operator, visitor volume, wine capacity, or sales performance; company-attributed statements need independent support before becoming present facts. Fenxi processing steps explain a tomato-sauce sequence but do not show that every county enterprise uses the same equipment, the cold store serves all producers, or the cooperative represents county scale. Xiangning wine and Fenxi tomato have no evidenced raw-material, customer, or logistics connection and do not form a supply relation merely because Linfen tax authorities observed both.

A Xiangning wine visit can check grape origin, harvest year, fermentation and ageing facilities, production permission, alcohol testing, labels, and the agritourism operator. Fenxi tomato processing instead calls for the cooperative legal person, factory address, food permission, cold-store temperature, input and finished batches, bottle specification, and sales records. Market share, capacity, revenue, or visitor numbers need a defined year and measured subject. A process description or brand story remains an experience lead and does not become county scale, a quality guarantee, or an investment judgment.

  • Process differences shape a useful visit.

06 · Regulatory material offers a partial view

Tax observations show operations, not complete industry statistics.

All available material are directly accessible publications from the Shanxi Provincial Tax Service or Linfen Municipal Tax Service under the State Taxation Administration, dated from May 2024 through July 2026. They use tax service, compliance guidance, and local industry examples as narrative entry points and can confirm dated place, product, company name, and explicitly stated figures. They are not a consolidated industry census from Linfen agricultural or statistical authorities and do not use one enterprise classification, output definition, and reporting period across all six places.

Regulator publication strengthens authority but does not expand what the text supports. Tax guidance does not mean a company is universally compliant across taxes, food safety, environment, and labour, while a tax-benefit narrative does not prove that a benefit caused output or revenue growth. Company-attributed figures retain the publication attribution, entity, and date, and local industry totals are not assigned to an example firm. The six publications use different subjects and times; missing values cannot become zeros for ranking, and no six-place total or average can be calculated.

For field preparation, retain the tax-publication title, authority, date, and relevant wording, then supplement each decision with the competent authority. Scale needs statistical or industry records; food production needs permissions and inspections; exports need customs and quarantine; environmental matters need assessment and discharge permissions; and operating status needs statutory disclosure. Tax publications remain local entry points rather than substitutes for complete due diligence. If later authoritative material changes scope, the definitions stay side by side instead of creating comparability by deleting qualifiers.

  • Regulatory cases explain individual operators.

07 · Three firms occupy different niches

Nianmo, traditional food and agricultural roles remain distinct.

Huomomo Food Technology Development Co., Ltd. is supported only by a January 2025 provincial tax-regulator publication for its exact name, HuoZhou locality, and dated nianmo production context. The publication proves no ownership form, operation after the stated date, present capacity, output, operating revenue, customers, orders, market share, or general compliance. It allocates none of HuoZhou’s more than 160 entities, 30 million kilograms, or above RMB 200 million to the company. Food technology in the name supplies no equipment, product catalogue, or technical capability.

Shanxi Jiubaofeng Food Co., Ltd. is cross-identified by two provincial tax-regulator publications for its exact name, Hongdong locality, and jujube-and-rice steamed-food setting; a 2024 publication additionally records a 2020 founding statement. These facts prove no present ownership, continuing operation after the publications, capacity, output, revenue, customers, orders, share, or general compliance. Co-appearance with Huomomo in a 2025 holiday-food publication shows that two local examples were selected, not supply, a common brand, shared facilities, or equity relations.

Shanxi Zhimakaimen Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. is supported by a July 2026 municipal tax-regulator publication for its exact name, Houma locality, and chili sorting, drying, packing, and deeper-processing context. Two lines and average daily processing of 500 tonnes are publication-date company observations. They guarantee no future operation, ownership, revenue, customers, orders, share, or general compliance. Updating the three companies requires recent permissions, statutory disclosure, products, and production records for each legal person, with no relation inferred from Linfen jurisdiction or food processing.

  • Company names do not prove a supply chain.

08 · Comparison returns to the product

Check supply, process, capacity and sales reach separately.

The six Tier-A tax-regulator sources form six local product observations. HuoZhou nianmo supplies three core industry-total metrics. Hongdong supplies traditional-food and Jiubaofeng identity context. Houma supplies Zhimakaimen chili stages and company values. Xixian supplies total 2024 pear raw-material output. Xiangning supplies wine and agritourism context, and Fenxi supplies tomato-sauce stages and cooperative-facility context. No publication says the six places jointly form a formal cluster, and no publication supplies a Linfen-wide total.

Reliable comparison aligns geography, product, measured population, data period, stated date, unit, and attributed subject. The three HuoZhou nianmo metrics are local industry totals. Xixian’s 192 million jin is county raw pear output, while Houma’s two lines and 500-tonne daily figure are one company’s publication observation. These categories share no denominator. The six nodes connect only through an regional municipal frame, and every relation is limited to geography, product category, or dated regulator observation. Ownership, equity, supply, customers, orders, logistics, shared capacity, and technology transfer among companies remain unverified.

Before a travel, procurement, research, or investment decision, open the direct publication for the relevant place and retain authority, title, date, product, and qualifiers. Then add statistics, permissions, inspections, project files, customs records, contracts, or statutory disclosure according to the decision. Industry totals are not allocated to an example firm, a company’s daily processing does not expand into county capacity, and raw-material output does not replace processed goods. Unconfirmed present operation, ownership, capacity, output, revenue, market share, and company relations remain unknown until comparable records support a time or geographic comparison.

  • Each locality calls for different questions.
