Jinzhou Taihe photovoltaic manufacturing
The photovoltaic base in Taihe and nearby Jinzhou covers monocrystalline ingots, wafers, modules and application services. Suitability requires a joined view of material specification, dimensions, power, degradation, packing and project environment rather than using “full value chain” as a substitute for product data.
Formation and regional foundations
Jinzhou developed an early base in silicon and photovoltaic products, and successive disclosures from Solargiga-related companies record changes in monocrystalline ingot, wafer and module activities. Municipal material and company updates add regional and production-base context without carrying historical capacity automatically into the present.
Photovoltaic products are split, combined and renumbered repeatedly from crystal to wafer and module, so any break in identity weakens traceability. Procurement and project teams must also interpret laboratory ratings within site temperature, irradiance, installation and maintenance conditions.
Core geography: Centred on monocrystalline wafers, modules and photovoltaic-application firms in Taihe District and the coastal development area, the boundary includes production equipment, quality testing, project delivery and plant operations. Entities and public plant addresses are checked separately.
The identity chain for Jinzhou photovoltaic products
From silicon specification to module operation and warranty
Ingots, wafers and modules may be handled by different entities or sites, with separate responsibility for application work. The path locates document interfaces and does not assume trade among firms.
- Silicon lot and product specification — Purity, dopant, conductivity type, target dimensions and final use form a traceable input before charging.
- Crystal growth and wafer processing — Crystal growth, squaring, slicing, cleaning and sorting divide one material lot into several wafer lots.
- Cell and module combination — After cell manufacture, wafers are combined with glass, encapsulant, interconnects and frame according to the design.
- Power, safety and visual grading — Electrical, insulation, safety and visual results are tied to module serials, with test conditions retained in the report.
- Packing and system-design input — Packing protects products in transit, while module parameters inform racking, inverter, cabling and system layout.
- Installation, monitoring and warranty — Receipt, installation and operating data together distinguish damage, shading, mismatch or degradation and trigger the relevant responsibility flow.
01 · Industry history is not current inventory
Dated disclosures explain how Jinzhou photovoltaic activities changed; procurement still asks about today’s entity and product.
HKEX disclosures and the Jinzhou government report establish local photovoltaic manufacturing and related firms, supporting the Taihe industry description. Their dates, entities and scopes differ, so all figures cannot be merged into one current picture.
Photovoltaics has changed in product size, technology route and demand; earlier equipment may be upgraded, idled or moved to other formats. Historical capacity belongs in a supply decision only when supported by recent line and schedule information.
Initial contact asks the contracting entity for current products, manufacturing address, critical equipment range, recent lot certificates and committable lead time. If brand, manufacturer and seller differ, their relationship and service duties are separated in the quotation.
02 · Crystal work sets the wafer starting point
Purity, doping, thermal history and defects follow the crystal into slicing.
Successive annual reports record monocrystalline ingot and wafer activities, establishing Jinzhou operations in those stages. A reporting-period description does not replace purity, origin, dopant and charging records for a silicon lot.
Electrical uniformity and defect distribution in a crystal affect wafer sorting and use, and head and tail can differ. An average can hide sections, so the specification should state sampling position and allowed distribution.
The raw-material-to-crystal file connects supplier lot, furnace run, doping plan, crystal number and test results. Recharge, remelt or section changes must retain clear old and new identities.
03 · Slicing turns one crystal into many lots
Thickness, damage, cleanliness and sorting together determine downstream suitability.
Wafer activity in annual reports establishes product direction, while current size mix, processing method and yield belong to production detail. A group product name cannot prove supply of the requested dimensions or thickness.
Slicing parameters affect thickness variation, warp and surface damage, while cleaning and handling can introduce particles or edge chips. Thinner wafers save material but demand greater process stability, packing and downstream control.
The wafer purchase file defines dimensions, thickness and variation, geometry, edge, surface, sorting and packing, with sampling rules. Incoming inspection first matches pack lot to certificate, then opens it under controlled conditions.
04 · Module design recombines materials
Cells, glass, encapsulant, interconnects and frame must work together electrically and mechanically.
Solargiga’s dated disclosures include changes in module-related activities, showing downstream product involvement at Jinzhou bases. Current bill of material, certification and manufacturing site for a module model still need specific documentation.
Modules with the same rated power can differ in cell format, encapsulation, glass, frame and dimensions, changing installation load and transport. Poor material compatibility may emerge only after damp heat or thermal cycling.
The technical agreement lists full model, dimensions, weight, electrical values, mechanical loads, material-change rules and certification scope. A critical-material substitute is checked for retesting or customer approval.
05 · Rated power needs test conditions
Power binning, safety checks and appearance judgement must stay tied to module serial and equipment condition.
Annual reports and company updates describe production bases and products but do not provide flash-test records for each module. Product judgement returns to serial number, calibration status, test conditions and binning rules.
Rated power under standard laboratory conditions enables comparison but is not real-time site output. Temperature, spectrum, irradiance, shading, soiling and mismatch all alter operation.
Dispatch sampling selects power, safety, appearance and critical dimensions and checks equipment calibration and sample coverage. Re-binned or repaired modules receive a new status so old labels do not continue.
06 · Packing and system design protect generation together
A compliant module damaged in transport, storage or installation loses the value of its factory data.
The Jinzhou production-base update provides manufacturing context and the government report a regional industry setting; neither assigns logistics or engineering duty for a project. Packing, transport, storage and installation after dispatch are allocated through the contract chain.
Module edges, glass and junction areas are sensitive to impact, compression and poor stacking, and microcracks may not be visible. System design also considers array voltage and current, racking loads, fire access and maintenance space.
The delivery plan defines pallets, stacking, moisture protection, handling tools, incoming checks and damage-report timing. System design uses the actual module data sheet with separate structural and electrical approvals.
07 · Resource efficiency begins with wafer loss
Material use, energy, water and nonconformance disposal vary by manufacturing stage and need segmented observation.
Company annual reports may contain group operating and environmental information but cannot calculate resource use for a Taihe model. Crystal, wafering, module and application work have very different energy and material structures.
Kerf loss, broken wafers, bin rejection and module repair all affect material efficiency. Better yield reduces input as well as cleaning, handling and disposal burden.
Supplier improvement work lists input, good output, rework and disposal by operation using one boundary and period. Module disassembly or recovery involving mixed materials needs a responsible party and compliant route.
08 · Warranty decisions need a responsibility interface
Product defect, transport damage, installation deviation and operating environment need data-based separation.
Public disclosure establishes entities and business context, while warranty duration, performance promise and claim process depend on model and contract. Brand owner, manufacturer, seller and engineering party may carry different duties.
Low generation can arise from the module, shading, soiling, wiring, inverter limits or monitoring error. Without serial, installation position and contemporaneous environment data, a field dispute is hard to attribute.
The contract defines data for receipt, installation, grid connection and operation and sets initial reporting, site preservation, joint inspection and sample return. After replacement or repair, comparison within the same array continues to confirm restored performance.
Sources and reading notes
HKEX annual reports establish activities and entities for their reporting periods, while Jinzhou government and company updates add only regional and production-base context. Material was checked through 31 August 2026; product power, capacity, orders and warranties are not calculated from cross-year summaries.
- The HKEX disclosure index and Solargiga annual reports establish relevant entities and photovoltaic-product activities; consolidated figures cannot be assigned directly to one Taihe company or plant.
- Annual reports from different years reflect changes in business structure and entity relationships; 2019 and 2024 figures retain their respective periods rather than forming one operating state.
- The Jinzhou government report and production-base update provide regional context; project construction, line operation and commercial supply still require separate dated documents.
