INDUSTRY CLUSTER · Equipment
Jincheng Precision Cast Components
Jincheng had 133 foundry firms at the end of 2020, a historical citywide baseline. A separate 2024 Zezhou cluster count gives 52 foundries, four leading firms and more than 4,750 workers, with a different geography and year.
Formation and regional foundations
Coal, iron resources and machinery demand shaped Jincheng’s foundry base, while environmental and equipment upgrades moved firms toward precision and cleaner production. Zezhou organises modern foundry activity around Nancun, Bagong, Xiacun and Chuandi, although company recognition and park construction must be distinguished individually.
Jincheng foundry activity grew from a citywide resource and machinery base toward cleaner, more precise and more automated production across four Zezhou areas. The 2020 municipal baseline, 2024 Zezhou cluster measures and professional-town results cover different geographies; real plant capability emerges only by connecting charge materials, melting, moulding, heat treatment and machining.
Core geography: Four Zezhou foundry areas within the wider Jincheng network
Municipal and Zezhou-area nodes in Jincheng foundry
Roles of Nancun, Bagong, Xiacun, Chuandi and Gaoping
Relative positions show municipal, county and area organisation. They do not assign one furnace exclusively to each area or establish supply among firms. Figures retain their geography.
- Jincheng municipal precision-cast and foundry frame — The Jincheng municipal frame contains historical 2020 firm, output, value and employment measures.
- Zezhou County foundry-cluster and specialty-town context — The Zezhou node has 2024 cluster and professional-town measures that are not current citywide totals.
- Nancun Green Intelligent Foundry Innovation Industrial Park context — The Nancun green smart foundry park forms part of Zezhou’s four-area organisation.
- Bagong foundry concentration-area context — Bagong is a foundry concentration area whose facilities remain plant-specific.
- Xiacun green-innovation industrial-park context — The Xiacun green innovation park enters the county’s modern foundry layout without proving full completion.
- Chuandi foundry concentration-area context — The Chuandi foundry area sits beside other areas; four furnaces cannot be mechanically assigned one per area.
- Gaoping precision-casting development context — Gaoping carries a planned precision-foundry role, while Zezhou figures do not apply there.
01 · City, county and four-area measures cannot merge
The same industry produces several measures under different years and geographies.
Jincheng’s foundry plan reviews the city at the end of 2020, while a 2024 Zezhou cluster account covers a county subset. They differ in year and geography. Fifty-two Zezhou firms cannot be added to 133 citywide firms.
Nancun, Bagong, Xiacun and Chuandi are four Zezhou parks or concentration areas for modern foundry. Gaoping holds a separate precision-foundry direction in municipal planning. County figures do not extend to Gaoping, and city history cannot be averaged across four areas.
Firms may relocate, consolidate, close or complete environmental upgrades, so registers change over time. Industry distribution updates use entity, plant and operating date for each firm. Park boundaries assist location but do not replace operating status.
- Every measure first answers when, where and what was counted.
02 · The 133 firms form a citywide 2020 baseline
Output, value and employment remain within the same historical scope.
The municipal plan gives 133 foundry firms, 1.4 million tonnes of output, RMB 13.5 billion in value and 21,000 workers at the end of 2020. Together they describe the city at that time. They are not Zezhou or park figures.
Dividing total output by firms gives only a crude arithmetic mean, not a typical plant. Companies may produce pipe fittings, automotive parts, machinery parts or other castings with wide material and scale differences. Investment assessment needs specific products and saleable output.
A current update reconfirms active firms, melting equipment, environmental permissions and recent output. The old baseline can show a transformation starting point but not current growth. Scope changes and company consolidation also need separate explanation.
- A historical baseline explains structure but not current operation.
03 · The 2024 Zezhou cluster contains 52 firms
Four leading firms, eleven chain firms and employment belong to one county view.
A 2024 account of Zezhou’s provincial SME cluster gives 52 foundry firms, four leading firms and eleven chain firms. The categories may overlap and cannot be added. The firm total belongs only to the Zezhou cluster at that time.
The same account reports more than 4,750 workers. Employment covers the cluster and does not imply equal staffing by firm. Automation, product complexity and subcontracting alter plant labour structures.
A leading-firm designation indicates an organising role in the county industry but creates no control over other firms. Supply still requires contracts, technical agreements and delivery records. A joint project must name participants and duration.
- Cluster roles do not automatically become equity or purchasing links.
04 · Nancun, Bagong, Xiacun and Chuandi each have a site
Four areas organise industrial space without mechanically assigning four furnaces.
A Zezhou account describes four existing foundry furnaces alongside the four areas of Nancun, Chuandi, Bagong and Xiacun. The parallel wording does not assign exactly one independent furnace to each area. Ownership, location and operation require unit-level confirmation.
Nancun and Xiacun appear as green, smart or innovation parks, while Bagong and Chuandi are organised as concentration areas. Naming reflects positioning rather than completion ranking. Visits examine roads, utilities, environmental systems and actual occupants.
When castings move among areas for subcontracting, melt numbers, casting quantity, heat-treatment status and machining handoffs must remain continuous. Short distance can still bring mixing or delays. Logistics distinguish industrial proximity from real coordination.
- Facilities belong to entities and plants rather than abstract map points.
05 · A 2025 account reports 2024 professional-town results
RMB 8.691 billion in output and RMB 9.36 billion in revenue belong to the Zezhou professional town.
A 2025 county account gives 2024 output of RMB 8.691 billion and revenue of RMB 9.36 billion for the Zezhou foundry professional town. The measures have different accounting boundaries and are not interchangeable. They are not full Jincheng foundry results.
Revenue may include trade, services or recognition across periods, while output value more closely measures production. Comparison requires statistical units, firm population and price basis. A simple difference does not yield inventory or profit.
Professional-town measures cannot be averaged among Qinghui, Jingong or Keyuda. Each company needs its own orders, output and finance. Regional growth supplies market context without changing company credit or quality risk.
- Publication date and data year both remain, with geography limited to Zezhou.
06 · What green-factory status and proposed subsidy establish
Recognition and proposed support are specific matters, not permanent guarantees for every product.
Jincheng Keyuda Foundry Co., Ltd. entered Shanxi’s 2024 provincial green-factory list. The list confirms the legal name, Jincheng location and recognition. It does not establish identical environmental performance for every casting or real-time emissions.
Another notice includes Keyuda in a proposed subsidy matter. Proposed support establishes procedural entry rather than final payment. Project implementation, acceptance and use of funds require later evidence.
Cleaner operation depends on energy per conforming casting, reclaimed sand, dust, waste sand, noise and water. Product mix and equipment load affect the measures. Consecutive months and comparable products can show upgrading results.
- Environmental status and funding procedure remain tied to their respective lists.
07 · Qinghui, Jingong and Keyuda are three entities
Company tiers and list matters cannot serve as interchangeable capability evidence.
Shanxi Qinghui Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. appears in Zezhou’s modern foundry company tiers. Engagement confirms plant, melt materials, casting range and machining capability. A regional leading or key-firm term cannot replace quotations and quality data.
Jincheng Jingong Foundry Co., Ltd. is likewise handled as an independent entity and plant. If it performs only part of melting, casting or finishing, subcontract boundaries enter the control plan. Sharing Zezhou’s industrial setting with Qinghui creates no default supply.
Jincheng Keyuda Foundry Co., Ltd. has green-factory and proposed-subsidy matters, but neither answers current products, capacity or customers. Purchasing still examines drawing review, samples, volume capability and quality response. Contracts and logistics determine relationships among the three firms.
- Each plant separately confirms materials, processes, dimensions and customers.
08 · Follow one melt to a conforming casting
Melting, moulding, cleaning, heat treatment and machining jointly determine performance.
Before charging, pig iron, scrap, alloy and returns are checked by lot and proportion; melting records temperature, chemistry and treatment time. Furnace analysis must correspond to final samples. Unrecorded mixing or additions undermine defect investigation.
Moulding and pouring control sand properties, cores, risers, temperature and time; cleaning then checks shrinkage, inclusions, porosity and cracks. Repair welding cannot merely hide defects. Analysis returns to melt, tooling, sand and operating conditions.
A representative pilot completes heat treatment, mechanical properties, nondestructive examination and critical dimensions before machining and customer assembly. Production then follows scrap, rework, tooling and timing. Product families or monthly volume expand after consecutive melts remain stable.
- Use melt, sand and dimensional data to judge stability.
