Ji'an audiovisual equipment manufacturing
A sound product passes through connection, power, amplification, transduction, enclosure and acoustic tuning before reaching the ear. Ji'an gains value from short-distance trial assembly across these stages, although historic company counts and platforms describe formation rather than today's scale.
Formation and regional foundations
Electronics-industry transfer brought data-cable, receiver and audio-system makers, followed by tooling, moulding, harness and test work. Each customer sets its own impedance, frequency-response, power, protocol and finish conditions, and laboratory curves still need alignment with production-line sampling.
Audiovisual equipment is not a simple sum of electronics, loudspeaker and enclosure. Signal integrity, power noise, connection reliability, acoustic structure and assembly takt pull on one another. Ji’an offers manufacturing depth through its electronic-information base, while product fitness still has to be proven at the complete-system interface and in real playback.

Seven transfers from interface to listener
Why electrical acceptance can still leave audible noise or distortion
The map follows signal and failure feedback; electronic, mechanical and acoustic issues often meet only at system level.
- Connector and harness — Contact, resistance and shielding define signal entry.
- Main board and power — Processing, clock and supply noise couple here.
- Amplifier and transducer — Electrical signal becomes motion and sound pressure.
- Enclosure acoustic validation — Cavity, port and sealing shape response and noise.
- Playback and meeting scene — Room, placement and content expose system boundaries.
01 · Draw the complete signal chain before discussing sound
Input format, processing path and output load all matter.
An audiovisual signal may enter through analogue, digital or wireless interfaces, pass decoding, processing, conversion and power amplification, and leave through a loudspeaker or another transducer. Ji’an sources show an electronics manufacturing chain but do not describe a particular system path. Distortion and latency cannot be located when its chips and software stages remain unknown. The path should include protection and mute controls because they can also interrupt sound.
Comparing only a driver or amplifier rating overlooks front-end gain, digital limiting, sample conversion and load variation. Insufficient headroom in one stage appears under high level or complex content while ordinary speech remains normal. A sound-quality dispute first fixes the input file, volume reference, processing mode and termination before component differences are discussed. Only fixed boundaries make comparisons among samples genuinely fair.
An engineering sample carries a signal block diagram and version table showing format, clock source, gain and protection at every interface. Representative content from low-level speech to wide-dynamic music is recorded stage by stage. When a problem appears, bypass one block or use a known reference part to locate the change instead of adjusting equalisation, volume and hardware together. Bypassing one stage at a time preserves the clearest causal relationship.
- Sound judgement must carry signal path and version
02 · A harness can create an audible problem
Contact, shielding and routing all affect the signal.
Connectors and harnesses carry power, audio, control and communication, and high-current switching in one bundle can couple noise into a weak signal. Crimping, locking, bend radius and shield grounding determine long-term contact. Cable suppliers can provide many assemblies, but the system owner still defines interface and route rather than buying by length alone. A slightly loose terminal may become intermittent only after shipment.
Prototype wiring may have generous space, while production adds ties, panels and metal brackets that reveal noise. Grounding a shield at both ends to reduce interference may instead form a loop. Intermittent audio loss can be blamed on software when terminal back-out or vibration contact is responsible. Harnesses therefore require validation inside the final structure. The tighter final packaging becomes, the less representative prototype routing is.
At harness freeze, record terminal material, crimp height, pull force, shield termination, fixing points and minimum bend radius. Play at full load while switching display, wireless and charging states, watching noise and communication. Test connection again after mating cycles and convert every temporary route into a controlled drawing rather than leaving prototype knowledge with one assembler. Harness drawings must capture every routing change accepted on the build.
- Validate harnesses in the final structure at the busiest electrical state
03 · Power noise travels through invisible loops
Ripple, grounding and clocks meet again in the complete unit.
Main board, amplifier, display and wireless module may share power while operating at different frequencies and loads. Supply ripple, digital clock edges and amplifier current couple through common impedance and appear as hum, whistle or noise changing with the image. A board passing on an ideal bench supply does not retain the same noise floor inside the complete unit. Such coupling is clearest when several modules are busy together.
Replacing the amplifier chip alone may shift the spectrum without fixing the ground path, while indiscriminate filtering can disturb startup and protection. Whether noise follows brightness, wireless traffic, volume or an external device is a useful clue to coupling. Measurement needs supply and spectrum data together with the timing audible to a listener. The exact audible moment helps match an electrical event.
Build a worst-state matrix combining maximum output, low input, wireless transmission, bright display, external earth and charging. Locate coupling with near-field probe, supply waveform and audio output in synchrony, then repeat the same combination after one grounding or route change. A fix also checks temperature, startup and electromagnetic compatibility rather than buying silence by losing another function. Every filter change should be checked for unintended dynamic-range loss.
- Locate noise through both load state and spectrum
04 · Driver parameters must enter the real acoustic cavity
Volume, port and sealing alter transducer behaviour.
Driver sensitivity, impedance and response are measured under defined conditions, while enclosure volume, port, damping, grille and sealing alter them after installation. A small leak can reduce bass or create vibration, and a harness touching the wall may be heard as a driver fault. Transducer and enclosure therefore require acceptance as one acoustic assembly. A compressed gasket often explains more than its free dimension.
Pursuing a perfectly flat laboratory curve can ignore placement on a desk, near a wall or in a meeting room, while changing damping by ear is difficult to repeat across samples. Structural tolerance can also create different cavity volume and seal pressure between channels. Evaluation separates anechoic, near-field, rattle and representative-room results. Within-channel sample variation should be separated from left-right difference.
At acoustic freeze, identify driver, enclosure, seal, damping and tuning software together. Check leakage and sweep response before listening with fixed content at defined placement. If response changes after reassembly, inspect assembly pressure and sealing first. Take production first pieces randomly from the line so a carefully built engineering sample does not stand in for actual process. Random production samples reveal variation from fixtures, people and incoming parts.
- An acoustic version includes enclosure, seal and software, not the driver alone
05 · Assembly takt changes the sound of screws and seals
Fastening sequence and compression become audible noise.
Audiovisual assembly combines boards, connectors, drivers, gaskets, shell and trim, and fastening sequence changes shell stress and gasket compression. One screw may meet torque while hole variation creates uneven preload and buzz under bass or transport vibration. Cosmetic and acoustic acceptance need to meet on the same production sample. Screws, clips and seals form one shared load structure.
Moving seal inspection to the end for takt makes a leak require removal of several layers, and repair can damage clips and surfaces. Sending every noise to human listening is vulnerable to ambient noise and fatigue. A better route adds a simple leak or vibration screen after critical closure and reserves complex listening for sampling and diagnosis. Earlier leak detection reduces cosmetic and clip damage during repair.
Write gasket lot, screw program and assembly sequence into the process, with mistake proofing for left-right parts and different fastener lengths. Sweep the first unit and probe high-risk joints for trapped wire or looseness. A repaired unit repeats sealing and acoustic checks even when only one screw was changed. A post-repair sweep confirms reassembly introduced no new contact.
- Sound quality begins with assembly sequence, not final listening
06 · Laboratory and line tests have different blind spots
Precision analysis cannot replace unit screening, and fast screening cannot explain mechanisms.
Development laboratories can measure response, distortion, noise, latency and electromagnetic behaviour for comparison and diagnosis. The line must detect misconnection, omission, rattle and functional failure within takt. Equipment, environment and decision purpose differ. Ji’an manufacturing collaboration helps connect resources, but responsibility remains explicit by stage. Development findings must become features the line can judge quickly.
Applying laboratory limits to every production unit can create excessive takt or environment-driven false rejects. One playback tone for every item may miss reversed polarity, narrow-band rattle and communication dropout. Test design selects short checks by failure risk and uses periodic precision samples to monitor whether coverage remains effective. Both excessive and weak testing create hidden quality cost.
List each possible defect, originating station and customer effect, then assign fixture, electrical test, acoustic screen, vision or sampling. Challenge line tests regularly with golden and fault units so drifting fixtures cannot keep declaring pass. A new laboratory failure mode updates line coverage, and an abnormal line trend triggers laboratory analysis. Fault samples confirm that a fixture can still see real defects.
- The two test systems should update, not replace, each other
07 · Room and content change how the same system sounds
The listening site is the final acoustic component in the chain.
After equipment enters a home, meeting room, vehicle or professional site, reflection, distance, background noise and content reshape perception. Two identical units can receive opposite judgments in a hard meeting room and a furnished room. A field issue records space, connection, level and content rather than returning only that the sound is poor. Room records should include actual distances to walls and surfaces.
Equalising one room can overcorrect another placement, while loose limiting chosen for demonstration may trigger thermal protection under sustained load. Commissioning cannot ignore the product or assign every environmental problem to it. Reference signals first separate room response, connection errors and hardware abnormality. Reference signals return field impressions to repeatable comparison.
Prepare configurations for typical scenes with speaker position, input method, recommended maximum level and adjustment range. On site, verify channels and polarity, play known reference content, and only then tune for the room. Save every change as a recoverable version; after a room, firmware or external-device change, return to baseline before further adjustment. Recoverable settings keep one temporary tune from rewriting the baseline.
- Field judgement records space, content and connection together
08 · Supply collaboration must freeze versions, not only suppliers
A change in hardware, firmware or acoustic parts rewrites the system.
Ji’an electronics concentration creates collaboration among harness, structure, electronic assembly and complete-system manufacturing, and public sources establish direction and participants. For a particular product, one supplier may deliver different chip lots, materials or software versions. Supplier name is not product state; the system configuration must trace what was actually installed. Traceability must reach part version rather than stopping at supplier name.
Temporary substitution of connector, power device or driver during shortage can leave thermal, electromagnetic or audible differences when only basic function is checked. Prohibiting all substitutes makes supply brittle. A layered change path rapidly confirms low-risk dimensional equivalents while signal- or acoustic-sensitive items return to system-level testing. Layered change prevents a trade between resilience and system consistency.
Create a complete bill-of-material and software baseline, linking critical parts to the production serial through scannable identity. A supplier change states reason, affected range and old-new cut point, and engineering selects electrical, structural or acoustic validation. The first changed units receive separate factory and field tracking before the old version closes. Distinct changed-lot identity lets service feedback return quickly to the cut point and separate a new-part effect from a pre-existing system risk exposed at the same time. Continued tracking across shifts and playback scenes keeps a temporary fluctuation from being mistaken for permanent improvement and aligns acoustic with electrical conclusions.
- The system configuration number is the shared language of collaboration
Sources and reading notes
Start at the input and follow connector, harness, main board, amplification, transducer, enclosure and whole-unit test. No component parameter substitutes for system behaviour. Regional sources establish place and chain; a purchase still freezes hardware, software, acoustic version and test conditions.
