Guangyuan Aluminum Materials Processing

Guangyuan combines hydropower and park concentration to connect primary aluminium, short-distance molten-metal transfer, sheet and foil, cable and vehicle components. Above-scale firms reported RMB 37.77 billion in full-scope output from January through November 2024, up 33.9% year on year.

Formation and regional foundations

Yuanjiaba Industrial Park concentrates primary aluminium and processors, while Qingchuan and other areas host recycled-aluminium and alloy projects. Nine national high-tech enterprises and 13 technology-oriented SMEs form an innovation cohort. These designations and period output describe different aspects and do not provide product-level volume.

Energy and processing distance define Guangyuan aluminium. Short molten transfers reduce remelting; sheet, foil, cable and vehicle parts carry primary metal into distinct products, while recycled aluminium follows another input route. Zhongfu offers a view of high-precision material, Linfeng links electrolysis with molten supply, and Jiuda brings the route into downstream forming.

01 · Period Output and Industrial Scope

RMB 37.77 billion covers the full scope of above-scale firms rather than one aluminium product.

Guangyuan’s RMB 37.77 billion figure is the full-scope output value of above-scale aluminium firms from January through November 2024, while 33.9 per cent is the year-on-year increase for that period. Nine national high-tech enterprises and thirteen technology-based SMEs form separate dated cohorts. Value, growth and company counts use different units and cannot be combined into output for an aluminium product.

Period output value indicates industrial activity but cannot be allocated to Zhongfu, Linfeng or Jiuda, nor does it split molten metal, rolled stock, foil and fabricated parts. A company’s practical capability depends on alloy family, equipment envelope, quality class and current schedule. Treating regional growth as plant sales would misstate both product mix and deliverable volume.

Begin a Guangyuan supply discussion by naming the required form: molten metal, ingot, coil, foil, profile or fabricated part. Then ask separately about alloy, temper, tolerance, lot size, surface protection and lead time, using city output only as industrial context. The resulting answers can then be tied to samples, equipment and quotations.

02 · How Molten Aluminium Enters Further Processing

Short transfer connects smelting, casting, rolling and later forming.

Guangyuan’s route extends from electrolysis and molten transfer through melt cleaning, alloying, ingot casting or cast rolling, followed by hot rolling, cold rolling, foil rolling, finishing and component work. Recycled feed introduces another layer of sorting and impurity management. Direct molten supply avoids one solidification and remelt step but makes temperature, elapsed time and chemistry handover more demanding.

Zhongfu, Linfeng and Jiuda offer views into primary and high-precision material, electrolysis and park molten supply, and downstream fabrication. Public industrial relationships do not establish a fixed supply sequence. A molten transfer depends on compatible alloy chemistry, insulated vessels, custody release and receiving-furnace rhythm; solid feed raises different questions about packaging, inventory and reheating.

A useful flow diagram starts with the form actually handed over by each plant, then marks chemistry release, temperature or temper, weighing point, transport responsibility and scrap destination. Convert any unconfirmed arrow into an open interface question. This tests the short-distance advantage at Yuanjiaba without asserting that three co-located firms already supply one another.

03 · Yuanjiaba and Recycled-aluminium Nodes

Yuanjiaba concentrates primary aluminium, while Qingchuan and other areas host recycled routes.

Yuanjiaba Industrial Park concentrates aluminium-power and processing projects, with molten interfaces, roads, electricity and plant proximity forming its central conditions. Qingchuan and other areas host recycled-aluminium and alloy projects. Their feed controls differ: the primary route emphasises melt temperature and continuity, while recycled operations must also manage origin, inclusions and alloy mixing.

Short distance creates value only when utility capacity, road timing and both production schedules align. Molten movement is particularly sensitive to tap temperature, ladle performance, weather, congestion and an open receiving furnace. The count of nine high-tech enterprises describes an innovation cohort, not whether a specific route can complete a handover within the required hours.

Run the park visit along two distinct routes. At Yuanjiaba, trace electrolysis, molten receiving, rolling and finishing; at a recycled-aluminium node, inspect scrap sorting, melting and chemistry correction. At each stop, establish energy, water, road, permission and emergency boundaries, then test the claimed short chain against actual travel times and lot records rather than map distance alone.

04 · Alloy, Tolerance and Resource Constraints

Composition, thickness tolerance, surface and mechanical properties determine use.

Sheet, foil, profiles and machined parts cannot share one acceptance sheet. Alloy chemistry and temper come first, followed by gauge or dimensional tolerance, flatness, surface, pinholes and mechanical properties as applicable. Hydropower can improve the energy mix, but it does not remove questions about cell efficiency, anode consumption, dross treatment, rolling oil and melt loss.

Industry output and company designations do not transfer quality to a coil. Even when a producer belongs to a high-tech-enterprise cohort, the buyer still needs a representative lot tested against the target standard, with sampling point, method and retest rule stated. Recycled content or direct molten supply should also be evaluated together with chemistry, surface condition and end use.

Use three different technical attachments when approaching Guangyuan firms. Molten metal needs temperature, chemistry and custody measurement; rolled material needs alloy, temper, dimensions and surface; a part drawing needs critical tolerances, heat treatment and first-article approval. The requested certificate must match the quoting entity and representative lot rather than a general park project description.

05 · A Product Entry through Zhongfu

Public information on Zhongfu provides a view into high-precision sheet and foil.

Local industry information connects Guangyuan Zhongfu High-precision Aluminum with high-precision material, primary supply and park processing, making it a concrete point from which to examine the move from molten metal into rolling. The reports identify the company and industrial direction but do not publish its current alloy mix, mill schedule, surface grades or dispatchable tonnage.

High-precision aluminium is a broad direction, not a contract-ready specification. An enquiry must distinguish molten metal, ingot, feedstock and rolled product because each involves different equipment, pricing and quality responsibility. Even if Zhongfu offers more than one form, the municipal RMB 37.77 billion output value cannot be converted into stock or sales of any material.

A request to Zhongfu should name the material form before listing alloy, hydrogen or inclusion control, temper, tolerance and surface protection. A molten option adds transport distance, holding temperature, receiving window and treatment of an abnormal heat. A coil purchase instead requires coil weight, packaging, edge quality and dispatch terms. Match representative heat certificates and near-term schedules item by item.

06 · Projects and Status at Linfeng

Linfeng is a separate company and project context that park totals cannot replace.

Guangyuan Linfeng Aluminum and Power is associated with electrolysis and park-based molten coordination, making the rhythm among power supply, tapping, holding and nearby processors especially important. Available industry information does not publish current potline load, transferable grades or fixed downstream allocation. The company’s chain position defines a role, not a reserved heat of metal.

An invisible clock governs molten handover: temperature falls from tapping to reception, and road delay or furnace queues can change usability. The arrangement therefore needs an insulated vessel, custody weighing, chemistry release, treatment of cold or mixed heats and a remelting contingency. Sharing a park shortens distance but does not replace those controls.

Open a discussion with Linfeng by stating target alloy, transfer volume and receiving-furnace window. Then confirm tap-temperature records, transport vessel, custody measurement, abnormal-lot isolation and safety responsibility. If solid primary aluminium is also under consideration, use a separate quotation for ingot form, bundling, heat certificate and dispatch rather than hiding two logistics routes in one price.

07 · Application Directions at Jiuda

Jiuda New Materials provides another aluminium-processing and application view.

A company report on Sichuan Jiuda New Materials Technology mentions park molten-metal transfer and advanced aluminium processing, providing a relatively clear entry into downstream forming. It does not cover every equipment size, customer grade, approval scope or near-term open capacity. The report can frame process questions but cannot promise delivery of a drawing.

Turning a product direction into an order depends on equipment width and gauge, forming or rolling capability, heat treatment, tooling, surface class and inspection. Company growth does not mean that a first article has passed. When feed arrives molten, upstream heat chemistry must remain connected to Jiuda’s finished-lot identity so traceability does not break at handover.

After sending Jiuda a coil specification or part drawing, ask it to mark manufacturability, critical tolerances, first-article route, test frequency and protective packaging item by item. On site, trace lot identity through molten receiving, forming, heat treatment and finishing, then agree sample quantity, tooling cost, approval points and production schedule. Those answers are closer to delivery than a company profile.

08 · How to Visit Guangyuan Aluminium

A visit can follow smelting, molten metal, rolling, forming and recovery.

Before visiting Guangyuan’s aluminium industry, define the end use, alloy temper and processing route, then decide whether feed is handed over molten or as ingot. Separate the metal index, conversion charge, alloy surcharge, dimensions, minimum coil weight, surface protection and mill schedule in the quotation. Regional value growth cannot answer pricing and delivery for a batch.

Zhongfu is a suitable starting point for high-precision material and primary-aluminium specifications. Linfeng can address tapping and park transfer, while Jiuda can discuss equipment and first-article conditions for drawings and downstream work. Fix the material handover point before comparing quotations, or upstream metal, energy service and finished fabrication will be placed in the same price column.

Close the visit with an accountable material map: the form delivered by Zhongfu, the point where Linfeng’s energy or molten boundary ends, the feedstock at which Jiuda begins, and the return route for scrap. Mark each arrow with condition, measurement, quality release and transport responsibility, then assign separate reply dates for missing chemistry sheets, machine capability, samples and quotations.
