Dalian Seafood Processing
Dalian links mariculture, landed seafood, frozen processing, ready-to-eat marine products, prepared seafood, and port exports, supporting procurement of frozen inputs, prepared seafood, and branded convenience products.
Formation and regional foundations
Yellow Sea and Bohai mariculture, long processing experience, cold storage, and port access formed the cluster. Leading firms extend sea cucumber, shellfish, and fish from primary processing into prepared, ready-to-eat, and higher-value applications.
Dalian seafood processing links coastal aquaculture and capture, ports, sorting plants, cold stores and foodservice or retail. Live, chilled, frozen and ready-to-eat products face different time, temperature, microbial and packaging risks. Procurement keeps species, origin or farming waters, raw-material state, process and cold-chain record within one lot identity.

Dalian Seafood Processing and Cold Chain
Water, Processing, Cold Store, Port and Market Interfaces
Nodes show common flows and imply no material supply, cold-store sharing or joint export among the three companies.
- Aquaculture, capture and intake — Records species, waters, date, vessel or pond lot, temperature and condition.
- Sorting, cutting and freezing — Controls grade, removal, washing, core temperature, freezing rate and glaze.
- Seasoning, cooking and ready-to-eat processing — Separates raw and cooked zones, recipe, heat treatment, cooling and seals.
- Cold stores, ports and line haul — Links location, temperature curve, container loading, seal, arrival and exceptions.
- Food safety and species verification — Checks residues, microbes, allergens, labels and species identity where needed.
- Foodservice, retail and export — Matches grade, thawing, shelf life, destination access and return duty.
01 · Twenty-Four Specialty Clusters Are Not Seafood Lines
Agricultural processing and specialty-cluster work spans several categories.
Liaoning agricultural information describes Dalian processing clusters and records 24 specialty industry clusters. The count concerns agricultural organisation rather than aquaculture, seafood plants or cold stores alone. The words Dalian and specialty alone do not place all 24 entries in a seafood register.
One specialty cluster can span farming, primary processing, further processing and sales with several participating firms. Sea cucumber, shellfish and fish also use different cycles and processes. Treating clusters as companies or lines loses category detail and says nothing about operation.
The cluster table retains name, leading product, covered area, lead body, construction period and public status. Seafood-related entries then check farming waters, licences, plants and recent operation. Without a detailed list, 24 remains an agricultural total and no seafood subset is invented.
- Confirm each cluster category, geography and year first.
02 · RMB 90 Billion and 7.4 Million Tonnes Cover City Agriculture
Cluster count, output, capacity and share cannot be narrowed to aquatic products.
Specialty-cluster information records 24 clusters, while a 2024 agricultural-processing account reports RMB 90 billion in above-scale output, citywide capacity of 7.4 million tonnes and capacity equal to 90 percent of agricultural output. The latter measures cover Dalian agricultural processing. The source does not isolate a seafood component within them.
Output value is economic activity, capacity is annualised processing headroom, and 90 percent compares capacity with total agricultural output. Capacity can span grains, produce, livestock and seafood and remains constrained by season, species, cold storage and orders. Reading 90 percent as utilisation or 7.4 million tonnes as seafood output changes the measure.
Use retains the terms above-scale, citywide agriculture and processing capacity with the year 2024. Seafood capacity is collected separately by plant, category, line, shift and season. Actual output comes from production and shipment records rather than nominal capacity times a percentage.
- Capacity is not output, and 90 percent is not equipment utilisation.
03 · Bangchuidao Cannot Inherit City Agricultural Figures
Industry scale and one seafood company capability require separate checks.
Dalian agricultural-processing information provides city industry scale, while the Bangchuidao website identifies a particular seafood operator. Together they establish its environment and corporate entry point. RMB 90 billion, 7.4 million tonnes and 90 percent cannot become Bangchuidao output, capacity or utilisation.
One seafood name can cover live, salted, dried, frozen or ready-to-eat forms with different waters and processing sites. A front-panel brand alone does not identify the manufacturer. An enquiry stating only sea cucumber or seafood leaves temperature, net content and preparation untestable.
A Bangchuidao item file records full name, species, origin claim, process, grade, glaze or drained weight, manufacturer, licence, lot and storage temperature. Sample and production use the same package and thawing method. Current stock and timing come from the named item and plant rather than city processing capacity.
- A product fixes species, processing site, raw-material state and lot.
04 · Bangchuidao and Xinyulong Do Not Form a Supply Link
Two company sites identify separate entities, not mutual seed, raw-material or product supply.
The Bangchuidao and Xinyulong websites provide separate seafood or marine-business entry points. Their shared Dalian environment shows several operators in one industry. The profiles do not jointly disclose seed or raw-material purchases by Bangchuidao from Xinyulong or contract processing in the other direction.
Marine seed, farming and food processing use different quality units. Seed concerns strain, health and stocking lot, farmed raw material concerns waters, inputs and harvest, and the food plant manages temperature, cleaning, processing and packaging. Passing one stage does not release food at the next because lot-conversion records must bridge every handover.
If a procurement chain truly includes both firms, contracts name the seed or material seller, farmer, processor, brand owner and quality responsibility. Handover records quantity, condition, temperature, time, lot and receiver. Company files remain separate when documents from both sides do not reconcile.
- Farming, processing and branded sales each require direct contracts.
05 · Xinyulong and Fuxingdao Define Separate Business Boundaries
Marine or biological in a company name cannot replace a product list.
The Xinyulong and Fuxingdao websites separately identify two Dalian marine-related operators. Names and profiles guide further contact but do not prove common species, processes or licences. Parallel appearance creates no investment, outsourcing, technology-transfer or customer relationship.
Marine-biological business can cover seed, farmed material, food, extracts or technical services, with very different licence, test and label requirements. Food specifications also separate edible portion, added ingredients and preparation. Inferring business from a company name can turn raw-material capability into a finished-product claim.
Each company separately provides a current range, manufacturing or service address, licences, test scope and contracting entity. Food samples check label, species, lot, temperature and life; non-food work uses its own technical specification. Only products with a matching responsibility chain enter one candidate comparison.
- Confirm what is sold, where it is processed, and who licenses and tests it.
06 · Fuxingdao Capability Returns to One Plant and Lot
A company site and agricultural-cluster information answer different levels.
The Fuxingdao website provides an entry into one operator, while Dalian agricultural-cluster information describes a city industry network. Together they show regional conditions around the company. Cluster scale is not Fuxingdao plant area, cold-room capacity, output or customer orders.
Effective seafood capacity depends on species and route. During a raw-material peak, intake, precooling, sorting or freezing may become the first constraint; ready-to-eat products also need segregated cooking, cooling and packing. Free cold-store space does not mean the processing line can take more material that day.
A Fuxingdao order review confirms plant, licensed category, target species, shifts, freezing method, cold-room zones and committed loading. Three consecutive lots record intake temperature, processing time, yield, microbial release and shipment. Constraints use actual plant-shift data rather than Dalian cluster totals.
- Verify cold-room capacity, production licence and current schedule separately.
07 · Seafood Safety Runs from Water Records to the Thawing Bench
Agricultural clusters provide chain context; lot control limits risk spread.
Dalian processing-cluster and specialty-industry information shows links among production, processing and markets. For seafood, such links can shorten entry into the cold chain while adding handovers among entities. Public industry information does not provide waters, harvest date, inputs or transport temperature for each lot.
Live and chilled raw material changes quickly with time; frozen goods can dehydrate, oxidise or form large ice crystals through repeated excursions. A plant handling several species and raw or cooked foods must also prevent label mix-ups, allergen omissions and cross-contamination. One end-point sample cannot fully repair a failed control line.
Each lot starts with waters or vessel code and records weight, condition, time, temperature and seal at handover. Plant zones log sanitation, tools, containers, personnel flow and environmental monitoring; the finished label reconnects species and raw lot. A complaint simulation traces both source material and other products from the same equipment window.
- Time-temperature, species and raw-cooked separation are independent controls.
08 · Close Dalian Seafood Procurement around One Frozen Case
Link raw lot, processing window, cold-store location, case code and destination.
Twenty-four specialty clusters show broad agricultural organisation in Dalian, while RMB 90 billion and 7.4 million tonnes indicate city agricultural-processing scale. The figures help assess regional services and cold-chain context but promise no seafood item. Procurement starts with a named species, product form, plant and destination.
The specification fixes raw state, grade, net content, glaze or drained weight, added ingredients, process, microbial limits, pack and storage temperature. After sample approval, the pilot records thawing or precooling, grading, cutting, heat treatment, freezing and metal detection. A new source area or packaging material triggers renewed shelf-life and transport review.
The first shipment uses temperature loggers and retains loading, seal, arrival and unloading times. Receiving inspection samples cases for code, temperature, dehydration, ice crystals, pack damage, species and sensory condition, while foodservice thaws by the agreed method. The next lot does not expand when an arrival problem cannot be located in material, process or transport.
- Approved sample, production and transport trial use one species and package.
