INDUSTRY CLUSTER · Food manufacturing

Chengdu Xinjin green food production and processing

Sichuan’s industry department designated Xinjin green food production and processing as a provincial distinctive SME cluster in 2025. Official sampling records name Chengdu Hope Food, Chengdu Wutian Food and COFCO (Chengdu) Grain and Oil together with Xinjin production addresses and specific products: processed meat for the first two and dried noodles and flour for the third. The designation provides no membership roster, so the companies establish documented local production rather than formal membership.

Formation and regional foundations

A 2025 provincial list establishes the cluster designation, while market-regulation records from 2023 to 2025 identify stated production addresses and sampled products for the three companies. The two source types document regional recognition and company-level production facts, but disclose no inter-company cooperation, capacity or market share.

Xinjin’s green food production and processing cluster has a clear provincial designation. The provincial industry list establishes the regional industry group, while nine food-sampling records identify the legal names, stated production addresses and products of three producers, keeping the two types of information distinct.

  • 2025–2027 provincial designation — The provincial list gives the cluster name and designation period.
  • Xinjin District, Chengdu — Sampling tables for all three producers give a stated Xinjin production address.
  • Chengdu Hope Food Co., Ltd. — No. 187 Xiwang Road; documented products include ham sausage and hot-pot sausage.
  • COFCO (Chengdu) Grain and Oil Industry Co., Ltd. — No. 66 Qingliang West Road; documented products include dried noodles and wheat flour.
  • Chengdu Wutian Food Co., Ltd. — No. 18 Wenzhou Road; documented products include cooked sausage and beef products.
  • Processed meat, dried noodles and flour — Products follow the sampling tables and do not form a complete catalogue.

01 · How the provincial list defines the cluster

Start with the name, location and designation period before reading company records

Sichuan’s 2025 official list explicitly names the Xinjin District green food production and processing cluster and gives it a 2025–2027 designation period. The designation directly establishes the industry group and places it within food production and processing in Chengdu’s Xinjin District. The designation period appears in the same list, which also helps distinguish two dates: 2025 is the publication batch, while 2027 is the stated end of validity. Keeping that distinction avoids turning a document date into a claim about when every company began operating.

The designation applies to a regional industry group, not to one company, brand or industrial park. The three producers below illustrate manufacturing activities visible in public records, but the sampling notices do not themselves establish an official membership roster. In practical terms, the list answers whether this officially designated regional industry exists in Xinjin. It does not supply a member roster, a park boundary or a company ranking, so those questions require separate evidence that can be checked item by item.

The cluster identity and company facts therefore need separate readings: the provincial notice establishes the cluster, while market-regulation records establish legal names, stated production addresses and sampled products. Together they reveal documented activity in Xinjin without inventing organisational relationships that the sources never describe. This division of evidence keeps a clear boundary. Sampling tables are not used to establish the cluster name, and the cluster list is not used to expand company product claims; each statement remains traceable to the source designed to support it.

  • Begin with the designation, then separate company records.

02 · What the three sets of production records show

Addresses and products come from batch-level tables, not from a complete roster

Public records give a Xinjin production address for each producer. Chengdu Hope Food is tied to No. 187 Xiwang Road, COFCO (Chengdu) Grain and Oil to No. 66 Qingliang West Road, and Chengdu Wutian Food to No. 18 Wenzhou Road; each is treated specifically as the stated production address shown in a sampling table. Each street number comes from a separate set of company records. It helps distinguish legal entities and plan verification, but it is not a precise factory coordinate; an actual visit still requires confirmation of the entrance, reception point and current address.

The products differ as well. Hope Food records cover ham sausage and hot-pot sausage; the COFCO Chengdu records cover dried noodles and wheat flour; Wutian records cover cooked sausage and braised beef. These are products named in public tables, not evidence of a complete portfolio or production capacity. The original product hierarchy also matters in comparison. Ham sausage and hot-pot sausage remain separate table entries; dried noodles and wheat flour should not be collapsed into one product, and cooked sausage must stay distinct from braised beef.

These documents answer a narrow question—who was recorded producing which product in Xinjin. They do not by themselves establish cluster membership, cooperation among firms or continued availability, so a prospective partner should still check current licences, specifications and operating information. For commercial screening, the tables work best as a first identity check: confirm the legal name, address and documented product, then request current licences and specifications from the producer. One sampling batch cannot show whether an item is available for supply today.

  • Treat sampling tables as production examples, not a roster.

03 · Processed-meat records on Xiwang Road

Three sampling notices identify different Chengdu Hope Food products

Wanzhou’s No. 11 notice of 2024 names Chengdu Hope Food Co., Ltd. and gives its stated production address as No. 187 Xiwang Road, Wujin Subdistrict, Xinjin District. The same entry lists premium ham sausage, linking the producer, address and product without extending the claim to other items. “Stated production address” is the sampling table’s own field. It identifies the production address printed for the product, not necessarily a headquarters, retail site or the company’s sole address.

Yongchuan’s No. 21 notice of 2023 lists sweet-corn ham sausage and “Meihao Wangzhongwang” premium ham sausage under the same producer and address. It adds product names rather than another legal entity, so the varieties remain attached to Chengdu Hope Food Co., Ltd. “Meihao Wangzhongwang” forms part of a product name in the table; it is not another producer. Retaining the Chinese brand wording alongside the product category allows the appendix to be cross-checked using both the full company name and the listed item.

Fuling’s No. 11 notice of 2024 lists premium hot-pot sausage for the same Chengdu Hope Food entity and Xinjin production address. The three tables together document several processed-meat products, but they do not replace a check of the current food-production licence and latest catalogue. The three records come from different authorities and batches, yet each places the full legal name and Xinjin production address in the same entry. Reading them together checks entity continuity; the number of appearances is not a proxy for sales or market popularity.

  • Each Hope Food record identifies a specific product.

04 · Grain-processing records on Qingliang West Road

Public entries for COFCO Chengdu range from dried noodles to wheat flour

Yongchuan’s No. 22 sampling notice of 2023 lists COFCO (Chengdu) Grain and Oil Industry Co., Ltd., a stated production address at No. 66 Qingliang West Road in Xinjin, and dried noodles. Because the legal name, address and product appear together, the entry independently establishes this documented Xinjin production point. This entry provides the legal entity, street number and dried-noodle category together, making it the anchor for the COFCO Chengdu record set. Later sources add product detail but do not alter the entity established by the first record.

Dadukou’s No. 12 notice of 2023 adds original-flavour dried noodles under the same company and production address. It concerns one specific noodle product rather than COFCO operations elsewhere, and the group brand does not constitute a separate Xinjin producer. Original-flavour dried noodles are the specific item named in the appendix, which gives no recipe, pack size or brand positioning. For product comparison, the entry establishes only that this variety was listed.

Dadukou’s No. 10 notice of 2024 records wheat flour under the same legal entity, adding another documented grain product. Dried noodles and flour clarify the production direction, but the sources contain no output, sales or supply-capacity figures and therefore do not support a scale comparison. The wheat-flour entry extends the documented range from noodles to a grain ingredient, but it remains a single public record. Flour grade, intended use and processing standard require current company material and cannot be inferred merely because the same producer also appears with dried noodles.

  • Read COFCO Chengdu noodle and flour entries separately.

05 · Sausage and beef products on Wenzhou Road

Three Chengdu Wutian records span 2023, 2024 and 2025

Wanzhou’s No. 7 notice of 2024 lists Chengdu Wutian Food Co., Ltd., a stated production address at No. 18 Wenzhou Road in Xinjin, and crispy sausage classified as cooked sausage. The entry identifies the producer, address and product category together. The appendix also classifies the item as cooked sausage. “Crispy sausage” therefore remains the specific name while “cooked sausage” remains the regulatory category; the two levels should not replace one another or be expanded to other sausages absent from the source.

Sichuan’s qualified-products list No. 32 of 2023 links the same company and address to spicy beef classified as a braised-meat product. It is a separate entry from the sausage record, so the two should not be merged into one item or embellished with flavours absent from the table. The table places spicy beef in the braised-meat category, which is more specific than the everyday product shorthand. Keeping both terms preserves the listed product name and the regulator’s classification of that entry.

Qualified-products list No. 19 of 2025 adds hand-shredded beef (spicy) for Chengdu Wutian Food at the same Wenzhou Road address. The three dated records show that individual products appeared in public sampling or qualified-product tables; they do not demonstrate uninterrupted production or a change in market share. The original item reads “hand-shredded beef (spicy),” with the flavour kept in the same parenthetical position as the table. It is separate from the 2023 “spicy beef” entry; similar wording does not establish an identical specification or batch.

  • Wutian sausage and beef entries come from different years.

06 · Reading the breadth of Xinjin food processing through products

Processed meat, dried noodles and flour form the directly documented sample

Hope Food and Wutian Food both appear in processed-meat records, but their listed products differ. Hope has several ham sausages and a hot-pot sausage, while Wutian has cooked sausage, braised beef and hand-shredded beef; that contrast comes from the product tables and requires no assumption of cooperation. The comparison shows only that the two meat producers have different products in public records. The sampling tables say nothing about shared ingredients, channels or processes, and similar categories do not establish a business connection.

The three COFCO Chengdu records cover grain processing: two list dried noodles and one lists wheat flour. Together with the processed-meat entries, they show several categories among sampled Xinjin products. This observation comes from the available public records and does not mean the cluster designation names these companies. Two dried-noodle entries and one flour entry establish products publicly listed for COFCO Chengdu, but do not describe its complete business structure. Each records a specific product within Xinjin’s grain-processing activity.

The public records cover only these three producers and cannot measure the total number of local firms or map the complete value chain. Packaging, cold chain and ingredient sourcing require official information that identifies the relevant companies and activities. Available public information gives no total company count, value-chain ratio or industry output. Regional scale cannot be calculated from these three producers or nine product records; such indicators require official statistics with a clear definition and date.

  • Product differences do not prove cooperation.

07 · Placing the 2023–2025 records on a timeline

Different years record different products without implying a growth trend

The 2023 material already covers all three producers. Two Yongchuan notices list Hope Food ham sausage and COFCO Chengdu dried noodles, while Sichuan’s qualified-products table lists Wutian spicy beef; each company therefore has a dated product record from that year. The three 2023 records verify entities and products separately; they do not show the firms joining one organisation that year. The shared date merely organises the timeline, while formal cluster designation still rests on the 2025 provincial document.

The 2024 entries add Hope Food premium ham sausage and hot-pot sausage, COFCO Chengdu wheat flour, and Wutian crispy sausage. They were published through sampling notices from different market regulators and should be read item by item, not summed into output or sales statistics for Xinjin. The four 2024 product records have different publication dates and batch numbers. They remain separately attributed so samples drawn by several market regulators are not mistaken for one coordinated sampling event conducted in Xinjin.

In 2025 the provincial industry department announced the cluster designation, and a provincial market-regulation list recorded Wutian hand-shredded beef (spicy). The events share a year but the documents establish no causal link, so they should remain separate facts about cluster identity and one product entry. Events in the same year do not automatically form a policy-impact chain. The cluster announcement establishes regional identity, while the qualified-product list documents one item; assessing post-designation change would need comparable before-and-after statistics or continuous company disclosures.

  • The timeline marks publication dates without inventing growth.

08 · How to use the information before making contact

Use official records as a starting point, then confirm current operating and commercial details

When looking for a processed-meat producer, begin with the full legal names of Chengdu Hope Food and Chengdu Wutian Food, then compare their stated addresses at No. 187 Xiwang Road and No. 18 Wenzhou Road. This prevents similar products or brands from being mistaken for the same company. In a call or email, use the full legal name and state which product entry and production address prompted the enquiry. That is more precise than citing only a brand and helps the recipient determine whether the request belongs to the current legal entity.

For dried noodles or wheat flour, the full name COFCO (Chengdu) Grain and Oil Industry Co., Ltd. and No. 66 Qingliang West Road recur across the records. Procurement discussions should still confirm current specifications, standards, minimum orders, lead times and licence status directly with the company. For dried noodles and wheat flour, ask separately about product standards, packaging, shelf life and supply regions, because sampling tables do not contain commercial terms. The address helps verify the entity but does not replace a formal quotation or contract detail.

The provincial cluster list helps narrow the search to Xinjin and green food production and processing, while sampling tables provide traceable company and product leads. Both are dated public records, so the latest official information should be checked again before a visit or transaction. The safest sequence is to confirm the place and industry direction first, then verify the legal entity and historical product record, and finally ask the company about current conditions. This uses public information without turning dated material into a present-day promise.

  • Recheck current licences and specifications before contact.

Sources and reading notes

A Sichuan industry-department document establishes the Xinjin cluster name and designation period. Nine market-regulation sampling appendices identify the three producers by full name, stated production address and product. Product names follow the appendices; no verifiable figures establish inter-company cooperation, capacity or market share.

  • The provincial list formally names the Xinjin green food production and processing cluster for the 2025–2027 designation period.
  • Three sampling records for Chengdu Hope Food give No. 187 Xiwang Road in Xinjin and list ham-sausage and hot-pot-sausage products.
  • Records for COFCO (Chengdu) Grain and Oil give No. 66 Qingliang West Road in Xinjin and list dried noodles and wheat flour.
  • Records for Chengdu Wutian Food give No. 18 Wenzhou Road in Xinjin and list cooked sausage and two beef products.
