Beijing Shunyi intelligent-connected vehicle support

Shunyi’s automotive support base is organised around vehicle programmes: sensors, actuators, structural parts and onboard electronics become deliverable only after interface release, prototype validation and vehicle approval. District material reports four vehicle leaders, seven R&D headquarters and more than 150 core suppliers at end-2025; those counts describe regional scale, not a supplier’s platform, part number or schedule.

Formation and regional foundations

A component programme normally works backwards from vehicle interfaces and a validation plan: controlled engineering data precedes prototypes and bench tests, and issue closure precedes road validation and production readiness. Shunyi shortens travel among engineering, trial build and vehicle sites, while functional safety, software revision, material lot and change records still need programme-level sign-off.

The useful question in Shunyi is not how many firms can be arranged into a supply chain, but how one part number earns vehicle approval. Interface baseline, prototype state, test conclusion and software calibration each carry a revision, and a change may trigger revalidation. Road testing also brings vehicle-safety and data-compliance duties that an industrial plan cannot replace.

Shunyi vehicle programmes: closing interfaces, prototypes and validation

Five controls from engineering baseline to vehicle release

Positions distinguish responsibilities rather than actual Shunyi addresses; arrows show the movement of documents or prototypes.

  • Interface release desk — Vehicle coordinates, communication protocol, loads and safety goals become a referable engineering baseline here.
  • Prototype integration cell — Sensing, actuation, structural or lighting parts are built and assembled against controlled data for bench work.
  • Bench and proving road — Environmental durability, functional safety, vehicle interaction and road behaviour generate issue logs and test conclusions.
  • Configuration repository — Hardware number, software calibration, test status and approved changes remain tied to one vehicle configuration.
  • Production sign-off point — Only when part status, process documents and vehicle approval align does the programme prepare for production delivery.

01 · Shunyi automotive map: four actor types and five supporting fields

End-2025 district measures are read separately from national cluster recognition.

The Beijing municipal page fixes its Shunyi snapshot at the end of 2025: four leading vehicle makers, seven research headquarters, more than 150 core suppliers and five supporting fields. The MIIT appendix instead confirms the formal cluster name and administrative area. The records have different dates, purposes and measurement levels.

Four vehicle makers, seven headquarters and more than 150 suppliers cannot be added into a supply-capability figure. Vehicle plants define integration interfaces, headquarters may perform design or validation, and suppliers occupy different sensing, electronics, chassis and structural stages. Actor counts describe concentration, not nominations, orders or production cadence for a model.

A buyer approaching Shunyi should first distinguish cluster recognition, the end-2025 district snapshot, activity by one company and a specific vehicle programme. An exhibition, visit or model launch describes the relevant actor at that time; it cannot replace the year-end figures. Keeping the legal name, publication date, chain position and open questions lets a later enquiry or site visit return to the original definition.

  • The values four, seven and 150-plus describe different actor types.
  • Five supporting fields form a regional classification, not a company ranking.
  • National recognition and local year-end measures remain in separate tables.

02 · Vehicle pull in Shunyi: from model interfaces to component revisions

Vehicle plants and suppliers connect through drawings, gates and change notices.

Shunyi’s regional account spans complete vehicles, automotive electronics, intelligent chassis and perception-decision functions. A real programme resolves those directions into a model code, component drawing, hardware revision and software build. Bench validation of a sensor or controller still precedes interface, packaging, calibration and road-condition checks for the specific installed version. Seven R&D headquarters are a Shunyi concentration measure, but headquarters does not mean the place of batch manufacture. A design office may create drawings, software or test plans while another legal entity and address use tooling, lines and inspection equipment. The cluster profile shows spatial concentration without assigning legal responsibility for a programme.

A nearby vehicle plant does not place every local component maker in its supply base. A nomination defines life cycle, annual demand, prototype rounds and change responsibility, whereas a regional profile only sketches possible supporting structure. Without documents from both sides, the evidence supports a Shunyi automotive context, not a named model supplier or permanent tier. A released drawing does not show that process cards, machine programs, gauges and work instructions have changed on the floor. A revision involving software, connector or package can also affect suppliers, assembly and vehicle testing. Finished labels may hide a station using old parameters, so version control must align design, manufacture and validation.

A component request lists model code, drawing revision, electrical and mechanical interfaces, automotive environment, prototype gates and estimated demand separately. The supplier distinguishes existing capability from new tooling, software or external testing. After delivery, receipt number, inspection result and vehicle-fit comments continue the trail so an exhibition conversation cannot become a production relationship. Choose one completed engineering change and trace approval scope, effective lot, old-stock disposition, tooling revision, software build and additional testing. When Shunyi design and production addresses differ, place recipients, receipt dates and first-off confirmation on one timeline. Sample a pre-change and post-change lot to prove the cutover through parts, records and tests.

  • Regional supporting fields resolve into a model and component revision.
  • Geographic proximity does not establish a supplier nomination.
  • Request, prototype and vehicle-fit feedback retain separate records.

03 · One vehicle question needs three different doors

A vehicle issue first needs an owner; vehicle interfaces, sensing and lamp assemblies do not share one responsibility window.

A false perception event in a test vehicle may involve the vehicle interface baseline, sensor data, calibration revision, lamp glare or installation position. Placing Beijing Li Auto, Wanji and Sanli on one page does not allocate responsibility. The model, part number, software build and fault conditions determine the correct technical door, and an industry context alone cannot turn any entity into a nominated supplier for that vehicle.

Shunyi vehicle, intelligent-transport and automotive-lighting material prints the full names Beijing Li Auto Co., Ltd., Beijing Wanji Technology Co., Ltd. and Beijing Sanli Automotive Lighting Co., Ltd. These pages establish identity, location context and only the role expressly stated. They do not jointly disclose purchasing, model nomination, current capacity or contacts. Automotive use of brands, groups and operating branches also means a short name is not automatically the contracting or certifying entity.

Split the fault record before contact. The vehicle door receives model, vehicle ID and interface baseline; sensing receives sensor part number, calibration, logs and road conditions; lighting receives assembly number, installation attitude and the optical symptom. Each message states the exact Chinese legal name and asks for the invoicing entity, plant and controlled contact. Replies remain with their own issue chain, while older profile language never substitutes for current written confirmation.

  • Vehicle state and part number determine fault ownership.
  • A formal page carries only its stated identity and business context.
  • Vehicle, sensing and lighting keep separate correspondence trails.

04 · Automotive inputs: entry conditions for chips, sensors and actuators

A matching part number does not establish automotive fit without lot and service conditions.

Upstream inputs for Shunyi connected vehicles can include automotive chips, radar or vision sensors, brake and steering actuators, harnesses and structural parts. Those are families rather than specifications: package or grade, temperature, enclosure rating, electromagnetic environment and installation position still matter. Each delivery lot links certificates and receiving tests to compatible software or calibration.

Laboratory target recognition does not show that a sensor performs through rain, snow, glare, vibration and contamination. An actuator rating also needs vehicle supply disturbance, communication latency and degraded-mode strategy. A generic data sheet therefore cannot establish functional-safety and durability fit for a particular Shunyi model.

The receiving sheet can use vehicle programme and component drawing as top-level keys, followed by manufacturer, lot, trace code, certificate and retest result. Chips, sensors and actuators receive different critical-characteristic fields rather than one generic form. A substitute reaches price and timing discussion only after design, test and quality staff assess its effect.

  • A component family name is not an automotive specification.
  • Laboratory performance needs further vehicle-environment validation.
  • A substitute receives technical assessment before commercial processing.

05 · Bench to road: connecting Shunyi validation evidence

Vehicle ID, software build, road section and timestamp define a test together.

Shunyi connected-vehicle validation can involve component benches, complete-vehicle tests and public-road or proving-ground work. Benches repeat temperature, vibration or power conditions; vehicles expose system integration; road tests add traffic participants, roadside communication and complex environments. Each record supports only its actual inputs, test-vehicle version and stated boundary.

A braking event, steering correction or communication timeout may combine perception, positioning, roadside messages, onboard strategy and an actuator. One trend plot can mistake simultaneity for causation. Software upgrades, sensor substitutions or scene changes prevent direct merging of runs, so engineering interpretation begins only after time sequence, version and scenario are reconstructed.

Give every run a unique ID linked to vehicle identification, controller hardware, software build, map version, driver or safety operator and road section. An anomaly package retains raw logs, video, environment and engineer notes rather than a screenshot alone. At shift handover or during fault tracing, another site engineer should be able to retrieve the same material from the run ID.

  • Bench, vehicle and road tests answer different questions.
  • Simultaneous events do not establish causation.
  • A run ID connects versions, scenario and raw logs.

06 · Chassis and actuation: functional safety beyond one test

Brake, steering and domain-control fault responses need system-level evidence.

An intelligent chassis includes more than mechanical parts: brake or steering actuators, power and communication interfaces, domain-control logic and fault warnings interact. Factory checks can establish output, dimensions or leakage under rated conditions, while the vehicle must still examine degraded behaviour under low voltage, lost communication, sensor faults or actuator sticking. Every conclusion belongs to a specific hardware-software combination.

Saying that braking works is too broad for a quality conclusion. Stopping distance, response time, pedal feel, warning and fallback depend on speed, adhesion, load and calibration. Moving the same actuator to another vehicle changes lines, tyres, mass and controller settings, so prior testing cannot transfer wholesale; requirements, hazards, safety mechanisms and evidence must map item by item.

During a chassis review, choose one safety requirement and trace it through system design, component specification, software implementation, fault injection and vehicle test. Record revision, owner, pass rule and open issue so a change identifies affected tests. If validation used a surrogate load, old software or non-production harness, state the difference and schedule follow-up work.

  • A factory test is not a vehicle degraded-mode validation.
  • A model change alters chassis test conditions.
  • A safety requirement traces from design to vehicle evidence.

07 · Lighting and cockpit: visible parts with hidden interfaces

Optics, EMC, software and packaging jointly determine vehicle fit.

Lamps, displays and cockpit controllers are standalone components and interfaces to vehicle electrical, communication and human-machine systems. A lamp combines optical distribution, package, thermal behaviour, sealing and control logic; a cockpit part adds display parameters, language build, communication matrix and trim material. Appearance or a working screen does not establish complete vehicle validation.

Passing an optical check does not show that a lamp retains performance after temperature cycling, rain, vibration and voltage disturbance. Display resolution and brightness do not replace glare, viewing-angle, sunlight readability, latency and unintended-touch checks. A change to housing, light source, driver chip or software build requires reassessment of prior evidence.

Create a hardware-software-test-vehicle index for lamp or cockpit prototypes. Every delivery fixes appearance revision, part number, critical material, control build and vehicle ID on one receipt. Environmental, EMC and package-clearance results remain separate while the vehicle programme owner decides whether the prototype can move to the next gate; a later change adds impact assessment and retesting without deleting history.

  • Lamps and cockpit parts serve several vehicle interfaces.
  • One parameter does not establish post-environment vehicle performance.
  • Hardware, software and test vehicle share one index.

08 · Carry a road anomaly back to its prototype and revision

The itinerary follows questions rather than counting company visits.

Shunyi’s chain spans vehicle plants, component manufacturing, R&D offices, bench laboratories and road-test resources. These functions connect industrially, but addresses, opening hours and access rights need individual confirmation. A spatial diagram can order design, manufacture and validation observations; it is neither navigation nor evidence of contracts.

A day spent maximising company count often leaves only showroom introductions. A sensor question is better served by tracing one incoming lot, one calibration and one road anomaly; a lamp question can follow an optical sample, environmental test and vehicle clearance. Combining both into a broad capability judgement would erase sample, revision and test boundaries.

Divide the day into morning entity and document checks, a manufacturing walk, an afternoon laboratory or road-test discussion, and an exit recap of unresolved questions. Confirm legal name, address, contact, photography limits and safety equipment before travel, leaving time for notes. Archive photographs, documents and interview minutes by place and date; record commercial relationships only when both parties confirm them in writing.

  • The spatial view shows function, not distance or contracts.
  • One visit should follow one or two question chains.
  • Restate open questions before leaving and archive by date.

Sources and reading notes

A Shunyi vehicle programme is judged by a defined configuration and part number. A change to interface baseline, hardware sample, software calibration or installation position may require the earlier test conclusion to be confirmed again. A road anomaly returns with vehicle ID, build and conditions to its responsible door; park planning cannot replace nomination or validation release.
