Alxa Camel Products Network

Right Banner’s 2023 ledger combines a 68,000-camel herd with milk and meat entries of 5,791 and 2,550 tonnes respectively. A reported 160,000-square-metre dairy base in Ejin Banner comes from a 2026 profile and cannot be merged with that county baseline.

Formation and regional foundations

Pastoral herds and banner milk supply support fresh milk, meat and fibre, followed by dairy, nutrition products, textiles and by-product uses. The Left Banner implementation framework, Right Banner park discussions and Ejin base occupy different development and operating stages.

Alxa’s camel industry spans the Left, Right and Ejin banners, with fresh milk, meat, fibre and shelf-stable derivatives facing different collection radii and processing needs. Right Banner’s 2023 results provide a county baseline, while the Left Banner framework, Right Banner project discussions and Ejin base occupy different planning or operating stages.

Core geography: Camel-product network across Alxa Left, Right and Ejin banners

Banner nodes in Alxa camel products

How Left Banner milk, Right Banner baselines and the Ejin base fit together

Relative positions show banner functions and project matters only. Lines do not establish equity, cross-banner milk supply or stable trade; vehicles, temperature and handoffs establish actual flows.

  • Alxa League camel-products planning frame — League planning identifies camel milk, meat, fibre and derivatives without a current camel-only total.
  • Left Banner dairy implementation node — The Left Banner framework covers milk bases, facilities, R&D and standards, with budgets and benefits still planned.
  • Right Banner 2023 baseline — The Right Banner 2023 node contains county herd, milk, meat and industry measures.
  • Right Banner modern camel-park discussion node — The Right Banner modern camel park node comes from a project-support discussion, not project execution.
  • Ejin camel-milk base profile node — The Ejin node corresponds to the camel-dairy base operated by Tuoxiang Biotechnology and its reported 160,000 square metres.
  • Camel-product processing and circular path — Processing and circular routes include planned dairy, meat, nutrition, fibre and by-product uses.
  • Public research and standardization support — Shared R&D and standards can support testing and product development without common production lines.

01 · League planning cannot replace three-banner operating data

Materials, projects and firms form separate sets in the Left, Right and Ejin banners.

Alxa industrial planning identifies camel milk, meat, fibre and derivatives as later directions. It describes the intended league product chain without giving current camel-only output. Planned projects are not operating company capability.

The historical 75.1 percent processing-conversion rate covers league-wide agricultural and livestock products at the end of an earlier planning period. Its population is much broader than camels. The percentage cannot be split into camel milk, meat or fibre conversion.

Distances, population and pastoral structures differ across the three banners, as do company and park stages. League direction explains policy context. Material volume, plant output and customer relationships still require banner-specific confirmation.

  • Banner, year and product type remain attached to every figure.

02 · Right Banner’s 2023 baseline begins with 68,000 camels

Herd, milk and meat figures measure livestock, dairy material and meat output separately.

Right Banner recorded 68,000 Bactrian camels in 2023 as a county herd baseline. The herd contains animals of different age, sex and production status. It cannot be converted directly into milkers or animals available for marketing.

Right Banner produced 5,791 tonnes of camel milk and 2,550 tonnes of camel meat in the same year. Both use weight but arise from different biological and processing routes. Adding them creates a mixed total with no operating meaning.

The plan also gives contemporary Right Banner aggregates for industry value, processors, trademarks and marketed products. Firms, brands and products can have one-to-many relationships. Trademark counts cannot replace firm counts or sales performance.

  • The three measures cannot be added or allocated across processors.

03 · Left Banner dairy implementation awaits facilities and milk supply

Milk bases, equipment, R&D and integrated projects carry planned budgets and benefits.

The Left Banner dairy framework emphasises camel milk and covers milk bases, equipment, R&D and standardisation. It organises prospective work. Proposed facilities and performance targets remain planned until accepted.

Milk supply depends on lactating females, yield, milking hygiene, pasture distance and seasonality. Herd count cannot replace daily collection records. Processing lines also must match arrival time and intake release.

When a project also covers tourism, experience or sales, agricultural, processing and service revenue require separate accounts. Visitor facilities do not increase conforming dairy output. Operating models separate visitors, products and production-line costs and load.

  • Planned spending does not establish milk intake or dairy capacity.

04 · Camel milk, meat and fibre follow three processing routes

Circular use can share resource management but not quality standards.

Fresh camel milk is sensitive to time, temperature and microbiology and can enter pasteurised, fermented or powdered routes. Concentration and drying change equipment and energy use. Product names cannot replace formulation, heat-treatment and shelf-life validation.

Camel meat requires quarantine, slaughter, cutting, chilling and possibly cooked processing. Cuts and products have different yields and cold chains. League or banner meat tonnage is not a company’s saleable finished volume.

Camel fibre involves sorting, washing, dehairing, spinning or finished goods, while by-products may enter fertiliser, materials or nutrition routes. Each has its own contamination and quality controls. A circular-economy term does not establish operating stages.

  • Material condition, process and customer use determine the product route.

05 · Cross-banner logistics must match product sensitivity

Fresh milk, meat, fibre and shelf-stable goods cannot share one transport assumption.

The three banners are far apart, and fresh milk is especially time- and temperature-sensitive. Collection radius is calculated backward from milking, loading, roads and plant receipt. Later processing cannot automatically repair material beyond limits.

Chilled meat, frozen meat and shelf-stable products use different temperature zones, while fibre emphasises cleanliness, moisture and lot mixing. Vehicles may share routes but not unclean cargo spaces. Transport plans are approved by product and lot.

Cross-banner supply requires shipper, vehicle, temperature, quantity, receipt and payment. Common camel materials or a shared league are not transaction evidence. A relationship remains unconfirmed when a key handoff is absent.

  • A complete handoff proves supply better than administrative proximity.

06 · Park discussions, Left Banner implementation and the Ejin base differ

Discussion, planned construction and reported operation have different evidentiary strength.

A 2024 Right Banner meeting discussed a camel-milk processing cooperation project and support for a modern camel park. It establishes discussion and promotion. It proves no contract, construction, commissioning or continuing cooperation.

A proposed RMB 1.65 billion, 690-mu park in the Right Banner plan remains prospective. Investment and land are design boundaries rather than results. Later tracking separates land, construction, equipment and production.

A government profile describes a 160,000-square-metre Ejin camel-dairy base operated by Tuoxiang Biotechnology. The area belongs to that named base. Continuing capability still requires current licences, lines and lots.

  • Each project milestone requires new construction or operating facts.

07 · Shentuo, Tuoxiang and Tiantu carry separate duties

Three firms share a camel-industry setting without borrowing projects or output.

Alxa Right Banner Shentuo Dairy Technology Co., Ltd. corresponds to a Right Banner dairy entity. Assessment confirms collection area, licensed products, plant and recent lots. Total Right Banner milk cannot be assigned to it.

Inner Mongolia Tuoxiang Biotechnology Development Co., Ltd. is linked to the reported Ejin camel-dairy base. Area and operation belong only to that entity and facility. They do not establish supply with the Right Banner park or Shentuo.

Inner Mongolia Tiantu Food Co., Ltd. is handled as a third independent food entity. Its products, processes, address and markets require its own evidence. Names and geography cannot establish equity, customers or logistics among the firms.

  • Full legal name, plant and licence determine the counterpart.

08 · Begin with one milking or one material lot

A representative lot connects pasture, vehicle, plant, tests and market.

A dairy project selects one pasture and milking period, recording animal health, container hygiene, cooling, loading and plant temperature. Intake tests align with transport time. Abnormal lots are handled separately rather than hidden by later passes.

A meat or fibre project follows a real purchase lot through quarantine, weight, grading, yield and release. Materials from different banners retain identity. Mixing occurs only when quality and traceability requirements allow it.

A camel-milk trial checks arrival temperature, acidity and packaging by vehicle, while meat and fibre use their own acceptance items. Returns or complaints trace to herder collection, plant processing and carrier handoff rather than being attributed broadly to a banner. The next order then adjusts milking radius, processing rhythm or product mix.

  • Establish stable delivery before expanding collection radius and products.
