Huangshi
Huangshi extends along the south bank of the Yangtze, shaped by Daye mining and metallurgy, port transport, urban lakes and modern industry. Tonglüshan reaches far into ancient copper production but cannot replace Hanyeping-era industry, worker communities, ecological repair or present manufacturing. Ancient extraction, modern industry and post-industrial urban life are connected but distinct stages.
